Today, I have extended the willow tunnel, started a willow porch on the ever growing willow house, and started a willow arch at the start of the wobbly bridge. I've just come in for a cuppa, then I'm going back out to tie bits of freshly planted willow together into the desired shape, then I have to paint the seesaw (made out of a leylandii trunk and two old car tyres), and then I have to either secure the wobbly platform to the tyres that serve as springy stilts and secure the slide from the top platform to the next platform, or figure out where to stick the tractor tyre I was was given, where it will be effective as a small tunnel thing.

I've done a bit of pruning of my hazel this morning. Did have plans to do more but it's been raining and from now until 4pm ish I will not be moving off my sofa cos the league cup final is on. Well apart from making a cuppa at half time.

I've moved stuff about at the back of the living room by the French doors to put up a set and a half of wire shelving (so 6 shelves) and have filled two thirds of it with seed trays already.

New propagator is in place, and already has lemon eucalyptus seeds that were sown last weekend but not yet germinated, as well as a tray of petunia seeds sown this afternoon. Another two trays of petunias are on the shelving, so it will be plain to see what difference the heated prop is making.

I ditched the mouldy Livingstone daisies, and sowed a couple of more trays for good measure. Also sowed my nicotiana sylvestris (thank you @Lolimac), and the malope Vulcan seeds I bought yesterday.

Forgot to sow my foxgloves, but there is time yet....

Dug over a bed with some compost and fertiliser and put in some bare root plants. Tidied up a straggly fuschia then also came in to watch the league cup final. Not laughing at merleworld yet as it's only half time.

Having just used a bag of the John Innes soil based compost, it certainly seems better than the Westland stuff I was using.

Just back in from the GH.
Sowed a tray of sweet peas Royal mix , calendula orange king and some nasturtiums.
Checked the on trays of cannas again and still NOTHING :dunno:, that's the 3rd batch it has got to be the seed I collected.
My nemesis Coleus coming again nicely under the lights :dancy:
Still plenty of seeds to do yet but no room in the propagator
Amaranthus, marigolds, Ricinus, Swiss chard, carrots

Well, I was going to search the borders for some space to plant Anemone, Dutch Iris, Acidanthera, Freesia, and Gladioli bulbs, but it has been too wet for getting down on your knees with a trowel and fork. That's a shame as I was looking forward to it but there's always later this week if the weather dries up.:coffee::snork:

I must admit @Lolimac - it looks pretty good sitting on the sideboard next to the French doors; almost makes it look like I know what I am talking about when it comes to this gardening lark :snork:
