I went to the "local" Plant Nursery a few miles away and had an amble around it to see if there was anything that might "catch my eye" or if there were any bargains. I was thinking of some more Hellebores for the borders but they were asking £17 per plant,:ideaIPB: but that triggered a memory that Morrisons were also selling them. So I drove a few more miles to the Supermarket and found some really good Hellebores for £5 each.........so I bought the last three, which saved me £36:hapydancsmil::heehee: Then going back home I planted them in the borders straight away and celebrated with a mug of tea.
Then I sowed around 300/400 Sweetpeas in individual small pots for the garden, local garden club sales, and hopefully for Shiney's open day. After that I had another expedition into the Green House and found around 15 different hardy perennials in pots that I'd over wintered and they are now in a rather cramped border. It's amazing how in the last month the borders are filling out with foliage and shoots pushing through the soil!!:coffee::heehee:

If I had any sense or brains that might have come into it but I got into one of those strange moods that pushed me into getting the Hellebores come Hell or High Water. The nice assistant at Morrisons said that customers were coming in and clearing the shelves of the Hellebores. I actually thought looking at the shelves that they had all gone but she pointed out the 3 last ones in a dark corner.......and all sensibilities went.........I just had to have them!!!:hate-shocked::rolleyespink::heehee:

Am trying to dig a hole under my pathway so I can run a cable underneath and get power in my shed finally. Only got about an inch under it yesterday.

Feel like I'm part of the great escape

Glorious day here today, so will be out later planting a Prunus Royal Burgundy out the front.

Also going to start some Cosmea Rose Bonbon seeds off in my new seed trays.

May also plant some other seeds/bulbs in troughs.

Contrary to appearance, my flowers aren't all pink, honest!
