What Jobs are we doing in the Garden today 2014..

Fed some plants & palms with chicken manure pellets and potted a sambucus black lace into a bigger pot.

 

Made a start on planting out the hardy perennials I have had outside in pots all winter.

 

Planted out some of my sweet peas and just thinking of the heavenly scent to come

 

Shiney, are you feeling the pressure with all this hosing?

 

Yesterday my Dad gave me a hand to secure my blowaway to the fence. We've been meaning to do it but with one thing and another it's only just been done. Hopefully now, it won't blow over.

 

Started cleaning the patio.

 

Cut the lawn for the first time this year and cleared the rest of the garden and cut everything back. It's starting to look like a garden again.

Took down 5.5 metre section of storm damaged fence ready to replace it. Was clearing up weeds and saplings in order to lay membrane and bark chips under the new fence when my back went! Thought it was a disc, but after ibuprofen, hot bath, radianB and large vodka it seems more likely to be muscular.
We'll see how it feels in the morning as I really need to crack on with the job.
