Finished the tropical bed at last, all dug over and ready for planting up.
Edged the bed with some sand stones given to me.
    Edged the lawn.

@fatcontroller there's plenty there to keep you occupied! :) I had to google lemon eucalyptus. Looks interesting!

@Sheal thanks for the info about toms in the propagator...I must keep a closer eye on it.

Ah, well, now - 'need' is a very strong word you know.......

I am going to have to thin them out a bit, but will still end up with a load more than I was intending; thats what neighbours and friends are for though, eh?

It was a James Wong packet of seeds - I went into the garden centre for cucamelon seeds, and then Mrs C wandered off and left me without any adult supervision.......

Its not my fault, I have a condition.... :snork:

I'm trying to germinate some more rocket today. Yesterday I planted lettuce, brocolli and rocket seeds as well as some peas in the propagators and lo and behold, the rocket has germinated already! So I planted the rest of the seeds I had, 'Runway' rocket is a winner!

I'm still, slowly, working my way through digging a very overgrown veg plot. It's very sticky and not easy to remove weeds and grass. There's almost more grass on the veg plot than the lawn and it's definitely thicker and healthier!

I'll, also, be digging out loads of clumps of forget-me-nots. It would be nice to leave them just for the colour (some are starting to flower already) but they're taking over.

We do very little in the way of growing from seed as we don't have time to deal with annuals. We're more at the stage of trying to deal with overcrowded beds. Planting new things means removing or reducing others.
