I've only had an amble around the garden and a sit in the Arbour with a mug of tea out of the cold breeze in a break from making a sturdy bench for my telescope, but it was nice while it lasted.:coffee:

Weeded and dug over my two tier flower bed late morning, that earned me an afternoon at the beach with a Manx ice cream in hand. Oh, musn't forget the flake of course!

On Saturday I did four hours of mowing and then some digging and weeding.

Yesterday I did some more digging and weeding and then cut this lawn
        P1200206.JPG

        and all the front lawns.

Then followed it by cutting this hedge
        P1200213.JPG

The bed below the hedge will be dug, weeded and compost spread on it and the edges done today - weather permitting.

        Shaped this tree
        P1200207.JPG

and started on shaping this one (on the left) but can't get to the top!

You need a wider mower ... used to take me 4 hours to do mine, takes an hour / an hour and a half to do it now :)

A good idea but most of my lawns have areas that are too narrow for anything wider. The lawn in the picture above is the easy one and only takes half an hour - it would take a lot less if I didn't have curved flower beds.

Thinking of starting ripping out the shrubs at the end of the garden for my new tropical garden.

Doing now't today as the weather is wet and miserable, and I am paying for the last couple of days activities, aching in places I forgot even existed

The wind and rain kept me in the shed today.

Potted up some seedlings, and sown some more seeds. Also made lists of Plants bought and added, plant gifts, cuttings taken and seeds sown.

I will post the list if anyone would like to see it.

Bacardi poured, snooker on, feet up here too @Loofah - not sure about this current match between Ding and Wasley though, they seem to be dragging every frame out at the moment

Pottered about this morning - swept the front and planted out a couple of dwarf Rhodos, then watered the front and everything in containers in the back.

I wondered why I hadn't grown any this year as well, as the photos on here of everyones Cannas from last year are gorgeous, so they're on my list for next year.

Haven't done much in the garden today except move a few things to the blowaway and a bit of potting on.

Not much today, but over the last couple of days I, with the help of CL1.1, made a good start on our latest project.

                                http://gardenerscorner.co.uk/forum/threads/my-latest-garden-project.63081/

We've taken an overgrown and unused area of garden, cleared it, levelled it, marked a boundary, seeded it with lawn seed, and stuck loads of novelty bright ornament thingies in it, and the first of many musical things. Oh, and we built a tree.
