      Morning my gardening friends!
Yesterday I put the rest of the manure on the veggie plot, had a bit if a dig with some help from the hens! :chicken::chicken::chicken::chicken: I cut back my raspberry canes & scattered some manure around those too. Hubby made a good start on cleaning the patio, the hen coops are on there at the moment so we moved those off & gave the runs a bit of a clean up.
This morning before work I dug some of the veggie patch, planted up a hellebore & 2 pots of crocus, pruned my red current & my Fushia. I'm going to try to move a clump of anemone I've not been very successful doing this in the past  but I'm going to give it a try!
There's certainly lots of jobs out there at the moment, it's so nice to be able to garden again, I'm not a fan of the dark, cold, wet winter months!
      Happy gardening folks :hapydancsmil:

I've been tidying up - cutting back grasses, rudbeckia and old sedum heads. In amongst a Pennisetum I found this praying mantis cocoon and thought you might be interested :lolpt:

I've got the mains sewer and gas running through my garden too Jason. The sewer inspection chamber is in the same bed as the pole.

@"M", yes only the one for the mains sewer but two others for my own drainage. I could hide in the sewer inspection chamber......perish the thought, it's between 4 and 5ft deep. :heehee:

You can have mine as well if you like Jason. :heehee:

Nahhh, it's not a battle Philomel, just friendly banter, we like to wind each other up from time to time.

I'm lucky that I can disguise the sewer cover by planting round it and standing a large pot on top, not so easy with the pole! :heehee: My two drain covers it's not possible with, so I have to put up with looking at those.

Ha, 4 sewer/septic tank covers here, so there  No idea why especially as 3 are close together in one part of the garden and 1 is in splendid isolation in the other half. It used to be two houses so I get why there might be two septic tanks but 4 :dunno: No telegraph poles though :frown:

Why is the pole so close to your house Noisette? I don't think that would be allowed here.
