Thanks for pointing that out. The cameras are set correctly, however, the directory that I use to copy the copyright somehow got changed and I did not even notice it.

The reason for the copyright is that I have found sites that "borrow" photos from my blog and use them for advertising.

This weekend has consisted of clearing more gravel, dodging centipedes, planting a heap of bulbs we picked up yesterday, some seeds of colour and strawberries with the kids and this morning we just picked up some thyme and lavender which will go in today after more stone removal.

Going to be sorting through my seed collections this morning. Sitting nice and cozy at the dining room table with a cuppa beside me :)

I moved several Hydrangeas to a new border by the Dome base, took out some Nettles that had grown unnoticed among the Jasmine Hedge. There was a lot of Honesty Plants among the borders so I thinned them out somewhat and realised that there were still a fair amount of jobs to do....sometime:heehee: One job to be done in November is the taking off of the lower branches of my Acer Brilliantissimum as they are too low, creating too much shade and also stopping me from sitting on my stone bench..........

..........without getting poked in the ear by the branches. I have to leave it until November as Acers aren't dormant enough before then and will bleed sap if pruned too early.

I started today by tidying up a few shrubs before getting on with the hard graft. I'm removing 80ft of rotten fencing and posts, luckily it won't have to be replaced as the new boundary hedge (Hebe) is coming on well. :)

Sorry no pictures, my computer died at the weekend and I can't access the external back up drive until I get a new one.

The rotten fence is down and the posts are out with help from my other half. There's no way I could have moved the concrete the posts were set in after digging them out. Just one stubborn one as per usual!:)

I now have to level part of the lawn where the fence was and fill the post holes, all ten of them.

How do you get rid of them?

I've got a lot of wire fencing and angle iron fenceposts to get out and then get rid of. :phew: Fortunately, I'll get Michael to do it. :blue thumb: Shhh! don't tell him :nonofinger: Or he might not turn up this morning. :snork:

not too much going on in this area, gardens are getting in the slumber mode. My fall anemines are blooming. Bought some huge mums to set out for decorating. Leaves and nuts falling. Had a good frost so some plants are done for the year. Will soon do some pruning, reshaping etc. Next its the leaves to clean up. Trying to burn out a stump in the process. General getting the property ready for snow. Putting the fountains to bed.

Took cuttings of several Salvias in case parent plants don't survive the winter. Planted out more lettuce and chard seedlings in the greenhouse. Took the debris netting off the Brussels for the birds to have a go at the whitefly in there. Picked a few remaining red tomatoes, will make chutney next week. Knocked a few fuchsias out of pots needed for tulips, and put fuchsias into greenhouse border for cuttings later.

They haven't gone yet @shiney. We had ranch style fencing so most of it can be burnt. We have a man and van coming to take it all away for us because it's a third of the price of a skip. He will keep the wood for burning on a stove as it's untreated and take the rest to landfill for us. :)

Something I've remembered. My other half was talking on the phone to someone at Amazon a couple of days ago. The first name of the lady was Shine. :)

Sorry I've been a little quiet recently. I've been trying to sort out the house, as we are officially full next weekend, with people coming to help me celebrate my 50th! Gulp! Added to that we have a week of prayer this week, and I'm trying to fast 12 hours each day. This should mean I am only missing one meal, but my energy levels have gone through the floor, so doing anything is difficult...

Anyway ... I hope to get out and do some gardening today. Need to do a last (hopefully!) cut of the grass, and also to finish cutting the front hedge on the other side of the gate. Not sure if both of these will be done - may be one or t'other. Have an update over the other side and the "discussion" with the neighbour. At the end of last week, he came over to me as I was walking the dogs...to thank us for lowering the height of the hedge!! Result!!

Good luck with the fasting. :blue thumb: I only manage to do that between meals :heehee:

Is your week the ELIM or World Peace one? Best wishes whichever reason. :grphg:

Michael came yesterday and removed a lot of the wire fence and iron posts. They filled the back of his truck! I asked him how he was going to get rid of it and he said that a friend deals in scrap metal. So his friend will take it despite it being rusty and nearly 70 years old.

We got some of the fruit trees pruned - a heavy pruning :phew: and I have started on tidying up the edges and beds in the front garden. I also took the bird feeders apart, cleaned them and struggled to put them back together again. It really needs three hands to do it properly  The smaller feeders are not too bad but the big one is really difficult. It's 3ft long and needs to have the parts held together whilst one hand uses the screwdriver and the third hand holds the nut (not me) in place! :heehee:
