Not strictly in the garden, but for the garden. Building the front of my greenhouse, in the garage. Took less time to build than the door. Can't wait to start digging the ground for the base! :)

How are you getting on down there in Spain Lorea? The weather here is as they forecast - revoltingly wet and windy. Only got to 5C yesterday, though nearing 10c today.
I've got a stinking cold to add to the misery, so am doing indoorsy things, sorting seeds, ordering more....
Hope all you lot up in the uk are fairing better :)

Still to horrid cold, too much snow. do have to get my boots on and pull a huge branch off a bush that fell over night. Put more suet in the bird feeders. That is it. I am planning to take time off from work in April just to garden, and clean up this mess that is under the snow.

In between rain showers, I moved an Erysimum Constant Cheer into a bigger pot. It wasn't looking very happy so out of it's pot it came, thankfully quite easily. Hopefully it will do ok now and I will get some flowers.

@philomel It's pretty grim, but at least it's not snowing, although there's no guarantee we won't have some more before the winter's out. It's been raining constantly for about a week, and that, coupled with the thaw is causing river levels to be dangerously high. Up on the coast they're having huge waves and have been battening down the hatches since the weekend, with the fishing fleet unable to leave port. The forecast seems to change from day to day, although for the time being the rain looks set to continue. I imagine the temperatures are similar to yours , 9º or 10ºC max.

@Lorea Yes it'll be lovely once we get to April and the roses start properly :spinning:

Well I ordered the seeds and spoke to a few friends, but that's it for today - oh apart from seeing that my saved geum seeds are germinating

Had about 20mins after work so quickly sowed so more sweet peas and checked on things in the things in the green house. Agapanthus Africanus has another new leaf coming as do the delphiniums, they are loving the greenhouse temps at the moment and my little papaver (arrived as seedlings from T&M) have perked up.

I swear I could quite happily sit in there and just watch things grow. Would certainly beat 30 kids at work! (Ha love them really)

Last night I built our chicken coop, but made the school boy error of building it inside without measuring if it would actually fit through the doors..

Luckily as fate would have it, it did so today's job was relocating it and trying to finish it off. Doing this brought up the need for a decent screwdriver as mine was severely lacking. Found a decent one on hotukdeals which was a 40 piece black and Decker project set with motorised screwdriver and stuff for £20. Very happy with that!

Too dark to carry on now so will finish it tomorrow :)
