Creeping Jenny needs to be kept warm at the moment as it will encourage them to grow and deffo bring in at night as a frost will kill them

Should be fine TT. I have a pieris which lived quite happily for several years in a large pot, against a north facing fence at the back of the house.
Last year I replanted it in a border against the same fence and it's still doing fine. :blue thumb:

Thanks @Spruce. I've brought them onto the indoor windowsill. Hopefully they won't have to stay indoors too long (I don't really have room indoors).

I think this is the must have flower this year! I've sown some too :)

Every single seed appears to have germinated very quickly and strongly.

Managed to paint or creosote parts of fence ,whatever it is called today. We done the sections where the climbers will start to grow soon (clematis) .Much easier than trying to do it later on when buds are growing strongly and coming into leaf. All done now so from now on a matter of just doing it when it is sunny.

The chooks have got the run of the garden today - hoping they will do some weeding and slug patrol while they are at it. Had to barricade the patio so Ozzy doesn't "interfere" with them
He's making a new patio pool for me ... with his drooling as he watches the girls! :heehee:

Finished off fixing supports to the fence for my climbers. Was ruthless with my Buddleia and gave it a good prune. Pruned my fuchsia. Cut back dead growth on some perennials - there's lots of new growth coming now :dancy:.

Nothing outside today, It's blowing a gale out there. But I have seeded up some pots to go in the propagator in the conservatory. Tomatoes are germinating nicely. Daffs are almost bursting forth. Orchids have been fed. Now time to do some family history research. Have a great Sunday guys.

Snowing again, 4 inches expected. Nice and soft fluffy snow coming down.

Sowed the tomatoes and sweet peppers in the heated propagator.

Did a bit of general weeding and tidying up around the veg plot and cleaned out all the leaves and assorted debris from one of my 'sink ponds'.

Picked the last of the Brussels Sprouts.
