This looks great! The frame of mine is up, but we still need to glaze it and with about 100 panes of glass and 450 bits to hold said panes in with, it could take a while! Guess what we're doing this weekend!

It's been a lovely spring like day today. Took advantage of the weather and got my chitted spuds into containers. If there's any frost forecast they can be dragged into the shed or fleeced. They were lovely last year so we're hoping for the same again. Made it to Wickes, Homebase and B&Q. Picked up some Wickes MPC and a bag of Jacks Magic from HB to try. Looks very nice! Also picked up some Forget -me- nots for a container and a blue Aubretia. Also took delivery of some summer bulbs - Anemone coronaria Mr Focker, Coreopsis Moonbeam, Dahlia Sneezy, Liatris spicata and Lilium Late Morning. Lots to plant up tomorrow. :dancy::dancy:

Created a new small 14'' wide border today approx 3 meters long - the grass never grew against the wall very well so I decided to cut the grass and create a nice border for ornamental grasses/Lavender to match in with the rest of that area.

Todays plans have been put on hold. My body aches big style today and, even though it's only aches, I'm not daft enough to push it to the point where it becomes more. Instead, I used the eggs I've "harvested" to do some baking :heehee:
Interestingly, the weather was grey and cold right up until I made the decision not to go and do the heavy work and to bake instead ... then ... the sun came out!

I took advantage of the warm sunny weather today and spring cleaned my greenhouse. It's amazing how much moss grows in the grooves and joints during the course of a year.

Had 1/2 hour when I finished work, cleared up the dead hosta leaves and tidied up the heucheras.
                          Mulched around acers and hostas.

Well, have been at work all week, but on Sunday i had a great day in the garden. I fixed the greenhouse..., i then took out plants that were planted next to the greenhouse to enable me to flatten the soil in preparation to think about a seating area. Not sure what i am doing really and whether i want paving slabs, decking, orrrr... However, i've put weed fabric down until i decide what to do. Actually thinking about making a few concrete slabs myself, with a mosaic pattern, but that will probably take too long to do. Decisions, decisions!:snork:

That sounds amazing! Are these just in propagators in an unheated greenhouse, or inside? I want to start my asters, sunflowers, cornflowers and zinnia soon but I need flowers for the end of August so don't want to be too early.
