Good luck with the flame tree seeds. They'll need a lot of protection, warmth and light, as they're definitely not hardy in this country. Do you have a warm conservatory to keep them in during the winter?

Just ordered some top soil for delivery next Friday so will be preparing the area this weekend. Once it down, I will then wait 5/6 weeks before getting some turf down. Then my wife can quite whining about the mess.

I've not got a conservatory but I'll find a space for it somewhere. Been reading that you also grow it as a bonsai tree

Dug over the polytunnel border and wondered what had made the big hole at the bottom end. Filled it in, hope it's not rats!

            Oh bother

At least it'll keep the badgers off it, they don't like jeyes fluid, not like Armandii.

I accidently Jeyes Fluided my trough full of brand new daffodil bulbs I'd not long planted. I was on pins waiting to see if any shoots emerged. I'm glad to say they have so all may not be lost Jack especially as you've given it a shower!

It will be when I get all the non compostable stuff out of it, like large logs, coconuts, plant pots etc that Sis dumps on there

Barrow that you get from doing surveys, like the Clarks boots I wear and the other stuff :) DSCN0447.JPG
