    Some more raking. You should see all the bulbs coming up. All across the front of the house, on the front lawn, in the gardenssss, the side of the house. The back valley slope. Some very early are blooming. Might run up and get some pansies for pots.

      @rosebay ...as above:thumbsup:

      I've got a ton of leaf mould and home made compost plus nearly a ton of good quality top soil to make use of so I'm making my own mixtures:dbgrtmb: I seem to spend a fortune on shop bought stuff every year and to be honest I've been disappointed in the quality no matter which one I've tried:dbgrtmb:

                Gave the lavender a haircut, potted up some lilies and cut back a berberis. It was hiding some
                Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens' and is far too spikey when there is a 6 & 3 year old around. Hope to get some more tidying done tomorrow and Monday, fingers crossed on the weather front. :smile:

                    The weather was lovely here yesterday so I managed to get a few things done. Repaired a few holes in my blow away with tape. Found some poppy seedlings in a trough I want to clear so I potted them up to transplant elsewhere then cleared the trough. Fed all of my spring bulbs and moved a few pots around. Tied in some clematis stems Had to call it a day when my back said no more! I'd already done some pricking out earlier in the morning so I went and had a sit down. I did manage to get OH to do some heavier lifting but got a bit of a telling off for the lifting that I'd done :heehee: I'm too impatient and couldn't wait so now I'm paying for it this morning as my back is aching and I can't bend. I'll have to have a day off from gardening today...very frustrating. :rolleyespink:
