Just back from the allotment where I've finally planted my sprout, lettuce, kale and garlic seedlings. I have space in the coldframe!!

Not for long, granted. Next job is thinking out leek, onion and whatever else needs moving on from the propagators :D

Currently sat on the garden enjoying the sun and watching the chooks destroy everything.

While I was at work my old Dad has pricked out more tomatoes ,no one is allowed to touch anything in my Garden or GH :paladin:It's only because he's my Dad:blue thumb:

Managed to get the second coat of paint done on the fence behind the bed and one of the pergola posts

And somehow managed to replant everything and the wisteria. I gave the buddleia quite a big cut back in hope that will help with the stress of being moved twice in two weeks.

I also topped dressed some pots with compost and watered everything in the greenhouse and cold frame

Weeding the front borders about half way down now, then decided I thoroughly disliked the 2 Pyracantha so got out the Scorpion electric saw, just stumps now.

Today was veggie patch day. Gave it a good digging over and dug in some chicken manure. I'm rather late this year but eventually got round to putting in my early spuds (Eerstelingen) and some peas. Sowed some cauliflower seed and some sweetcorn.

While enjoying a lovely sunny day yesterday doing a little weeding and general pottering about, I came across a good patch of self-sown lavender seedlings hidden in amongst the established lavender plants in my 'sunny seat' patch.

So, they were carefully lifted and potted up and (hopefully) I now have nineteen free lavender plants.

Yes, I know there are twenty pots in that tray, but one of them isn't a lavender. I found another self sown seedling nearby from a different plant. Let's see who's first to identify it.

Well it won't be me as I'm rubbish at that (can't even work out which one isn't the lavender seedling :heehee:) but really pleased about the lavender seedlings. I never have such good fortune

Yes and no Sheal. It is the one in the top left corner, but it's not a pine. :)

I think we're into 20 questions here. :heehee: It's difficult to see it against the foliage outside the greenhouse, a clue would be good please.

So today I spent all morning helping my dad rejuvenate the border in his front garden. It was filled with mossy boulders (which we moved to the back garden), many dead leaves and some out of control ivy and hardy geranium. We dug out an agapanthus and popped it in a big pot, repositioned some foxgloves and primroses, and added a hydrangea and dwarf azelea. It looks so different! Then while my parents were busy I split some primroses into a couple of pots by the front door and potted on a rose bush which was struggling.
Then I went home and sowed some sweet peas and zinnia and hauled a load of pernnials from the greenhouse which I really need to plant out. Will a delphinium in a 1.5/2L pot survive a slug attack? I need confirmation before I take the plunge! :help::fingers crossed:

When it gets bigger, it should be coming into flower right about now. :)
