Your time will come Charlie, it's always frantic this time of year with so much that needs doing. I never sit for more than ten minute in my garden, there's always something I spot or think of and then I'm off again. :)

ah, well I'm lucky Charlie in that I don't have to go to work any more so I can do things at my own pace. I did have many years when I was like you and there were never enough hours in the day to do all I wanted and relax as well. You'll get there xx

Surely you can take 10 mins out with a cup of tea and allow yourself to take in the garden?

I will make that my mission for this weekend! :dancy:
The massive overflow of plants from the greenhouse which are waiting to go in the new beds is just troubling me! Once that's done I will feel so much better.
On the bright side one night in and the Delphs are thus far intact! :spinning: It was like sending my children off to school.
          Actually not school,more like battle!

Repotted 5 washingtonia palms I got free from a diy shed:hapfeet:.I noticed they were looking bad and next to the gate to be dumped and so just asked if i could have them free instead of them binning them and they said yes.
A couple months of sunshine some good compost and feed and they will be spot on, free :wow:

We've had rain overnight so mowing the lawn will have to wait until it's dried out. In the meantime I bought four bags of Wickes compost yesterday and a couple of ericaceous so I'm going to be potting up three large planters and a couple of smaller ones. Don't know what to move where though. Decisions decisions.

                Pansy Ultima Radiance mixed.
Traded them for a loaf this morning. They'll go around the edge of a square planter with a young Malvia Moschata (24" -36" ) in the centre. Off to make up the planter in a minute,

New greenhouse finally completely built and furnished with shelves and potting benches. Filled up with plants that had been potted on in the conservatory, freeing up the conservatory for more potting on . Planted out some echinacea that looked in a sorry state in pots. Don't think they'll do much/anything but thought they'd have more chance in the ground. I don't have much luck with echinacea, but I love them so much I have to keep on trying.

A bit of this and that this afternoon.

Sowed some more mixed salad leaves in the greenhouse and planted an azalea in the shady border.

Gave this a light trim too. It just appeared a few years ago, growing by the garage wall. I didn't plant it there, so it must have grown from seed. As it grew, I wondered what to do with it. Then... inspiration. :ideaIPB: It's a box plant, so... I made a box box.

Stunning coloured Pansies Jenny  Pansies are a lovely Spring early summer plant. I really don't know how long they last , as I uproot them to get my summer bedding in.
You got them for a loaf ? Is the Sussex economy based on bartering now ?
