Oh @longk would have taken them off your hands; he lurves FMK's ... NOT! :heehee: :loll:

      Crikey, you are cheap! :roflol:

I've only been pottering (unlike you muscular folk who are doing heavy stuff). I'm amazed just how many leaves I'm still finding lurking around as slug shelters :th scifD36: But, by getting down low, I also get to see what is pushing through and how quickly it is happening. The Ghost Bleeding Heart is really kicking off now and the primroses I planted a year ago are positively thriving - they've been flowering all winter too. The miniature daffodils have come back again this year and are flowering their little socks off under the Thuja "Yellow Ribbon" which is in a pot.

The polyanthus I won in a raffle at the end of last year never did go in the ground but are still flowering prolifically in the pots they came in. Must find somewhere to put them for a permanent home: any suggestions?

I''ll home your polyanthus M.. ;) joke, I have 8 that need to go in too but haven't got spare pots atm, couldn't resist the colours and price!
Been in the garden with the little one today, he's been a good egg helping me with filling the feeding station and putting some manure pellets round the roses that were put in last oct, showing some signs of life. Moved 2 pots round the front, realised they wasn't getting any sun, checked on other plants, noticed my camellia has brown spots and no flower buds or so i think, just growth ones..quite miffed, it had a load of flowers last year, wondering if it needs more ericaceous compo dug in around it or moved to a pot of the stuff
Filled the car up with the rubbish and a kitchen unit we dont need and took it up to the tip.. only to be told the wood bin is full come back tomorrow. So I have a nice cupboard in the back of my car that will come on the school run tomorrow... :help:

Spotted some bluebells coming into flower when I was in the woods today. So, when I got home I checked all of mine, just in case I was missing out. But, no sign of an attempt at producing flowers. I'll have to be content with viewing them in the woods instead.

I spent a chilly hour or so pruning my roses today with an unexpected hail shower thrown in for good measure.:)

              Well, not just today but......
Have been a brave bunny and been out doing all sorts of things. Lost broadband connection that is courtesy of a kind neighbour so missing wi-fi terribly. Hopefully, that issue will be resolved. It hits my phone data allowance rotten, but have to read my GC everyday! He he.
Anyway, as said, been brave and have done masses of cleaning up, arranging for the spring and getting wet! I have planted a good few shrubs and plants and covered in fleece. I came home the other night to find cats had dug them all back up! They even tore the fleece. Problem now, I hope sorted as I have put down repellent along with slug pellets.
I went for my usual dog walk the other night and with my keen (on the lookout for freebies) eyes, found an old, glass cabinet door amongst the bins. Brought it back home and took to garden. I propped it against the table that I stole from our kitchen! He he. That was bolted to our back wall when the mrs went out one day. She didn't use it so I re-distributed it to the garden. Anyway, the door was the size of the table so got my mind working. Next morning, quick trip to B&Q to get some decking and some uprights and put together a new table and cold frame. Don't know if it will work but even the mrs agrees that it looks nice. He he!!
Have a good one people. Stay warm. [IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

Now, digging up and getting rid of old grass and topsoil. Well a mixture of clay and straw! I made the mistake of using pound land grass seed, Two years ago and it was awful, straw like stuff. I tried some better quality seed last year and although it was so much nicer, the old stuff overtook it. Now dug it up and re-soiled. Only 3 more to do. [IMG]
Oh, and put new additions on display. [IMG]

Hmmm, that sounds more like a fox to me than cats @Rustler.

You've made a great job of the cold frame and table. :dbgrtmb:

Thanks BeeHappy and Sheal. I thought it could be a fox but then caught neighbours cat in the act a few nights later. I could be wrong though. Hoping to find something on walk tonight for tomorrow's project. Even a few brackets would be nice. I have a cunning plan. He he!
