Moved pots outside and a pile of rubble that was doing my head in (still need to hide the railway banking) and Mr Lynd cut the front and back grass :)

Despite me thinking the Grape vine would be a gonner (been in a bucket for years and didn't get watered last year while I was mad)

It's got buds on a few branches :yahoo:

Got it in the ground on a bit of a mound (gets waterlogged there in the winter)

Hoed the thistles and cut the brambles out of the semi wild fruit garden, it's attracting a lot of butterflies and beetles [IMG] DSCI0193.JPG DSCI0190.JPG

Cut and edged the lawn, spaced out the tomato plants in the greenhouse into more trays to prevent them getting leggy, did a bit of hand weeding here and there, sat in the summerhouse with a cuppa and read the Sunday paper. :coffee:

Finished greenhouse glazing and cleaned. Went into the shed an found a problem.

                image.jpg

I can't open the door :wallbanging: I didn't even measure it. So after a bit of berating at ones self, I hatched a plan. Out with the circular saw and cut the door a third of the way across attached 3 hinges problem solved :yahoo:

                image.jpg

I have kids bikes, scooters etc in there, but will use this as a tool shed an put the kids stuff in the other one.

                    Great idea @rustyroots

I've been cutting my Clematises back. Maybe it should have been done some time ago but I blame the weather

Practically nothing. Just got started on the dahlias before the call to help with little one. End of exercise!

I seriously need to learn when to give in! :nonofinger: But the feeling of getting so much done is fantastic :hapydancsmil:. Do I ache? Yes all over! :old:
The far end of my kitchen looks like this....

                          We got up to 69f .... :)

I moved lots of seedlings into the sorta unheated greenhouse. Brought up all of the hoses. Emptied the deck box I had placed at the back of the yard so that the contractors putting in the new fencing wouldn't make a mess of the heavy/already opened bags of fertilizer. Got a new fence coming.

. Moved my gallairdia, moved bricks to make a base for my spud planter, added lines to my irrigation system, set up my potting table, melted parrafin to put in small paper cups by using my sun oven, which the parrafin cups will be used to fire up my wood oven. fun in thd sun!!!!
And this after baking 6 loaves of bread .. decided to catch up on the last two episodes of Corriie later.. Too nice outside!!

Here in Canuck country, you don't waste daylight when Mother Nature decides to gift you with heat.

                          We're expecting 69f tomorrow.

Going to get up at silly o'clock to get my wage earning work done. Then I'm outside.

Does it get better than this!

                          What a fantastic day :)

a little weeding, picking up sticks/limbs etc. and burning a stump. Sipping wine now, watching the fire.
