I emptied the three 16 inch large pots of the seeding Primroses and put them into individual smaller pots and then I filled the large pots with Cosmos, Wall Flowers, Asters, Chrysanthemums, and Sweet William.
Then I did a bit of cutting and pruning in the borders where some plants were "bullying" some of their neighbours:nonofinger::snorky: I tied in some more Clematis on the Jasmine Hedge by the pond and then had a mug of tea watching the fish and the frogs watching me.:hate-shocked::heehee:
After that I put on some gardening gloves, grabbed some Secateurs and started cutting the pile of climbing rose stems that I'd cut down, a week or two before by the pond, and had piled onto the lawn. I think I managed to cut about half of the pile of stems into manageable bits to put into a sack ready for the bin.......and didn't even get "stuck" by the thorns:hapydancsmil::hapfeet: I'll finish the rest of the pile tomorrow:dunno::snorky:

As I work four days, nothing much happens in the week, but I just about have time for a pest check and watering some plants moved on Tuesday ... weather not too bad here, not much sunshine but rain has stayed away - hope you are feeling better soon Michael :)

I moved a few things, small Heather, skimmia and potted primrose in seperate pots and cosmos went in.. you watching me Armandii!? :th scifD36: :heehee:

Thought I was done for a bit but needed to get a few other things in bigger pots (lupin, snapdragons, hollyhocks, spinach) before they were root bound. Got 2 more baskets for begonias, planted them up. Finally put my sweet peas in the ground didn't want to waste them, weeded next doors again, put a trellis up for her and moved all her ornaments where she wanted.. had a clean up before eldest one turned up with friends to play out back

Sunflowers need something done to them.. but what!? I've got no deep pots left! :rolleyespink:

Pulled up the spent wallflowers and forget me nots at last. Plus loads of weeds. Trimmed back the Ribes which always takes over the path at the back this time of year. Watered the new border and all the pots/greenhouse well. Saw that the pigeons have snapped off 2 of the cosmos I planted yesterday with their fat asses. I have a few spare in the greenhouse.
Sprayed round up on bindweed and wood avens and wished I could bend down to dig them out, suffering with terrible acid reflux all the time now- pretty much from late morning to early hours- and any bending over makes it loads worse.
Time for a gaviscon and to go visit my nan before a friend's wedding rehearsal.

Nothing in the garden too cold and windy, temp in Summer house around 9. Someone did tell me once that there is a bright yellow object in the sky that gives some nice warmth.

I understand how you feel. I get the same after bending a lot, so now I always try to kneel down instead of bending.
But then it's difficult to get up again :heehee: ... you just can't win !

                        I planted up this :-

                        101_7156.jpg

It used to have a holly tree growing in it, but it didn't look right, so I used some alpines I had in pots ... but I think it could do with a few more.

I have stomach problems @CharlieBot and my doctor suggested eating banana's - they help to relieve the acid that causes reflux. :)

I've nearly finished planting out the annuals today, just the Thunbergia to go in but I have to prepare some ground for those. Then on to re-potting young Irises.

Thank you @Sheal and @Michael Hewett , I have my 28 week midwife appointment tomorrow so going to ask for a prescription to help.
I really like what you've done with the pot MH, I have a similar one so you've got me thinking now!
