Final tally of 9 frogs rehomed. I forgot the bottom part of the pond was a half water but. Now that took a bit of effort to get out!

So big hole all ready to fill with dead bodies and the such...;)

little weeding. but also pruning my almond cherry tree. the suckers are nuts. then I spied a hole in the ground, like about size of a grapefruit. So continue the pruning, and I hear a noise in the other plants, like a creature moving, hidding. Well back inside for now. change the bed sheets. have to go out with a rake to scare it off. Either that or give up for the day and grab a glass of wine. hummm, wine it is. yep. best plan ever.

I gave my neighbour a few Tomato plants (glad to get rid of them) Did cut a few up and put in the compost. It appear that every Tom seed I sowed this season germinated, shouldn't moan I know but it is Fathers Day:dancy:

I put up this little trellis. It's only simple but I wanted to use it up, and also there's a rose there already and it needed something to climb on.

Washed the polytunnel inside and out, nasty sweaty work ( wore my swimsuit lol) amazing difference in light levels! Poor French beans had been struggling. Tied up some raspberries, pulled out a pile of goose grass And bindweed, picked the first broadies, frenchies and some Mercury .

Been busy sorting the nursery and bedroom so not been out much this week.
Did kill a few slugs (snip snip) and water the greenhouse today.
Still not had my refund from the national dahlia collection, not happy about that.

Well, we've had humid temps all day (30 degrees, plus humidity feels like 40, according to my weather app).
Struggling to do anything in the heat, but managed to cut half the grass - until I ran out of petrol:gaah:. I was dripping with sweat from the mowing, and was just stepping into the shower when the gate entrance went with a delivery - so pleased my mother-in-law is with us! Poor guy though, she doesn't even try to speak French, and her English has a lovely Welsh valleys accent!
Have since edged a few borders, and then retreated inside, as the next storm system approaches

Got a pumpkin for Father's Day so that's been planted, deweeded the tunnel although it only has a vine in one corner and a lot of conservatory parts.
Grass is growing and covering all the bare patches ( thanks dog :doggieshmooze: ), but next month gardens being ripped apart with building works and garden levelling.
