Mowed the back lawn and painted 2 log rolls yesterday, got another 3 to go.. sure theres another lurking somewhere

Gonna paint logs, try finishing digging the front over today, stick logs in if paints dry enough and stick some plants in, put a trellis up, move a clematis round the front and move a few other plants about.. :fingers crossed:

If this rain holds off I will! Got a pool to set up too but it's started bloody drizzling, managed to paint another log roll just now, cuppa tea and a Greggs pasty break for now. Showers wernt supposed to come until at least 1! Damn Met Office!

Mowed and edged the lawn, sowed some winter brassicas in trays in the greenhouse, tied in the new growth on a couple of climbing/rambling roses and trimmed some growth off the virginia creeper on the side of the house before it invades the flat roof. Also planted up a small hanging basket with trailing petunias to put up outside the kitchen window.

Meanwhile, Mrs Trunky planted up a couple of large pots with summer bedding and pulled up all the autumn sown broad beans after we'd picked and shelled the last of this year's crop.

Dug it over  (well, the Mr did and I sorted the wedges of soil and grass, weeds and roots) 20160625_155251.jpg
Painted half more log and given up, kids came home from their haircuts and Mr's gone out to watch the match.. need to rake stones out, get it in 2 section-ish and plant up before rain gets in by the afternoon tomorrow . Didn't get to do clematis/trellis either, don't think it will hold as we had external insulation last year :noidea:
