@luciusmaximus awww love the video!!! She reminds me of my old chinchilla eating from my finger. I used to feed her oxbow critical care. It was a green mushy liquid and it smelt lovely. Do you give that to he hoggies? She looks like she was enjoying it!

Only if I come too - I have not been to Cornwall, but believe parts of it are quite stunning :)

This heavy rain is doing my head in now. I didn't mind at first, a bit of relief from the recent baking weather we've had. But I've been building a large decking, installing lights and laying new slabs for my parents who are OAPs. I've done the lot other than a handful of slabs to go down. I'd have finished a lot sooner if the rain gave it a rest. I'm hoping today I'll see the finish line. IF the weather is kind to me lol

At the moment she is having a mash of Esbilac puppy milk, Hills A/D mousse and the juice from soaked kitten biscuits. She has a good appetite and when she's hungry she wakes up and ' peeps ' for food :wub2:.

Yesterday did a bit of strimming on back lawn whilst R cut the grass. Dug up a Fern I discovered by the boat seat and replanted it in one of the ' project ' areas out front. I had planned to plant along the edge of the fence but there is concrete just below the surface ( possibly a culvert protecting pipes, not sure ). So the fern plus 3 others I bought have been put into the bank I made to the left of picture ( its a bit bigger and wider than in the photo now ). Plan to add spring bulbs to the bank later. Today plan to lay some membrane and add gravel to area around the fence. Maybe start on cutting back the weeping Cherry and clearing the overgrowth around it.

However, as R has gone to play golf I may just get a zero g chair out and do absolutely nothing all day :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

Just cutting lots of grass Saturday. Suppose to rain on Sunday. Anyway, if it holds off, a little weeding can be done. I have a list of lots of pruning this fall and moving baby shrubs on the list. Seems a few of my hydrangeas have sent off babies, they need to be placed elsewhere.

Hope the rain holds off for you @Tinker86 ! Nice to get a project finished.

I'm at a point where I'm just "firefighting" in the garden before I decide on which massive project to embark on. I had an idea in my head and after watching gardeners world the other night I'm thinking of going down a completely different route. Also as i think there might be more funds inthe pot as i dont think we'll be buying the field we want. :( but means possibility of an outdoor building for an office for mr snork and a brick/glass greenhouse for me! He he. Hmm.

Anyway....yes....hope i can actually get outside today lol

Yesterday I nearly finished the garden pond just a few bits left to do, locate a few more rockery stones and relocate the power supply for the pump, I don't want to leave paving slabs in view on the shelves and I want to cover the wood round the hand pump,

Very pleased with the out come for a first ever attempt,

Today I've tidied the borders started shaping gold crest conifers what a lovely lemon smell and mowed the lawn.

I see, this should make it more clear the pond is in the red part, my garden had a slope, so I made it on two levels with steps going up.
