Oh nice! I bought a coronata from their nursery last autumn, and (probably) a scoly.. but when they removed the air pot I seem to have lost the labels!

Loads of cyclamen coum coming up in my grass - self seeded. Dug a good few up and planted them in my raised beds

Also, with this extended spell of mild weather, put down some snail pellets.

Finally got onto putting roof on chicken run. Not had the time or money to get materials, but found a seller on eBay selling clear roofing sheets for £3, they are £7 in Wickes. Went and got them earlier in the week. So this afternoon I have wired the roof to stop mr fox and rodents getting in, and fitted half the panels.

After the usual weekend shopping I stepped out into the garden with a mug of Tea and decided to clear all the borders of dead foliage and debris. After two hours and two large sackfuls dumped onto the Compost Heap I had another mug of tea.:coffee::snorky: Then I got hold of a stiff brush and started brushing all the paths and tidying the edges of the borders at the same time. That effort got me a sack and a half full of soil, dried stems and leaves :dunno: but looking back over the now clean and edged paths I got that good feeling when you know the job was good and worth it. Tomorrow I'm going to plant another 50 Gladioli, and several other plants, but I'm having to be careful where I plant because of the stuff I've already planted this year. I also want to move several of the large pot containers into new sites, put 50 Daffs into about 2 of them, and clean up the rest. There's also a Hydrangea in a large pot that I want to take out and plant into the walk around border opposite the Arbour. After that there's the borders by the side of the Wild Life pond that need sorting and also the Bog Garden...........slowly, slowly catchee Monkey!:dunno::heehee:

should try to get a picture of it. My Amish neighbors have this moveable "trailer" type, but with more windows, and a proper human door and two chicken doors and planks for their chickens. the area is fenced in. they move it on occasion around the field, then move the fencing also. Tell me its so they can have fresh grass and more bugs to eat.

General weeding, marking large clumps of spring bulbs for division later in the year.

                          Not a lot. :noidea:

More tidying up of beds, clearing debris from our nearly two year old new bed in the front. Couldn't quite finish it before my back told me to sit down  but got about 50ft of it done :blue thumb: I had a lot of help? from the robins. Only four of them came to help this time. Usually all six join in when I'm rummaging through the surface of the beds.

Well as it was fine and my flu bug is abating a bit I went to B&M who do garden stuff, so stocked up on compost and a big bag of bulbs and seeds as have decided to restock my seed collection as most are old. These I will offer to gardeners on harder times,

Now planting will take place when weather and health are in tune with each other, I need to shift building stuff so I can get a greenhouse up and start a garage extension.

:autlvs::autumn: also some laying of mulch. and found a trellis that will work to replace the one falling apart, have to cut out those vines, and stick the new ones in place. picking up lots of branches for the burn pile. beautiful weather today, perfect. about 60, clear sky. :sunny: and then to fill bird feeders :sparrow:
