I used biological washing tablet dissolved in warm water to combat the stain :).

Hoggies are all doing well. Very stinky :eeew:. Avery is the worse. She is so dirty I have had to take her sleeping box away as she was pooing in it so much and then getting herself covered in it:eeew:.

Well, not according to the Gardening Book rules:heehee:, but then again my C.ARMANDII has been flowering from Early Spring right through into the late Winter for several years. But then again, so have a lot of my Hardy Perennials. My Kerria Japonica has flowered about 3 times since Spring, as has my Spirea Arguta, my Lilac, Osmanthus and Choisya, along with a few others. :dunno: I've got a feeling that this is partly due to Climate Change, the way the Seasons seem to be "blurring" into each other. Having said that, more flowering does brighten up areas that have gone "dark" so maybe it's a good thing, so long as it doesn't strain or weaken plants.

                    Mowed and edged the lawn.

Not much else really, apart from sorting out a few more things ready for the move. Two empty water butts which we're taking with us have now been filled up with various pots, seed trays and so on. Should make it easier come moving day. :)

All the specimen conifers have now been cut and shaped, lawns cut, more weeding in veg plot area, plastic rabbit guard fence removed from around courgettes and toms and rolled and stored away, more windfall apples and picked apples made into apple crumbles or frozen as cooked apple, more pears and plums picked, bags of apples and plums taken to 'meals on wheels' ladies :phew:

Well I've still not got my rose in the ground yet cause it wont stop raining, I am admiring it in the kitchen at the moment. Feed the tomatoes and the cucumber last night, need to feed the pots today and do some deadheading and get some pictures. I need to walk down to Lidl today they have some fancy daffodils in, but I dont feel like it I've got the lurgy :sick0026: and it looks like it going to rain any second. If I dont go they be all gone rapidoo. Lidl have giant/large Alliums bulbs in next week if anybody interested.

The poker and the coreopsis are now in the ground for safe keeping. I put a layer of compost at the bottom and another at the top. I also gave each a dose of liquid plant food and then watered them in.

I also started on my winter interest section.

                            image.jpeg

I chopped away the 2 box hedges. I still have to chop down the other bush and dig out all the routes. Today's mission was to see where the path would fit for best effect.

I have opened the tap on the water butt to allow a tiny trickle of water out. I need it to empty but I don't want to flood the soil. Once it's emptied I can move it.

                            G.

@BeeHappy Time will tell but so far so good. My main worry is the wind. If ithe poker doesn't like the wind it couldn't be in a worse spot. The chain fence was put there because I got fed with losing fence panels. It's not an issue we have anymore.
