    Looking good my friend!!!! :love30:
The great thing about the cream is ... when all that luscious foliage and flowers are in full swing, those pockets of cream will "light" the way through the greenery and highlight any flowers in bloom. Love it!:thumbsup:

So today, pulling down my drive in my SUV, I almost tilted my car over as I snow banked it on the right side backing it up. but it bounced off into the road and all is well.

Put lots of plants in the greenhouse. Did some adjustments to one of the other greenhouses but had to switch over to setting up the ceiling fan in the larger greenhouse because the snow starting coming down very wet.

@wiseowl your greenhouse is exactly the same as my two at the side of my house. So you know how much work I had to go through to put louvred vents in them because it will only fit in the bottom middle of the back. Still got to square up those two after the pounding and bad language I gave them whilst doing the job. :)

I am on my proverbial hands and knees. Having decided to reduce my very large herbaceous borders from 4 to 2 I thought I would try selling the excess plants on Gumtree.I had already donated 3 car loads to a charity garden sale last Autumn but that didn't really put much of a dent on the surplus.

Well I have been inundated with people asking for the lists of plants I have going spare (only listed about a 10th as was loosing the will to live having to list everything and add photos).

Had quite a few people yesterday and made £175 for the hedgehog sanctuary that I support and have another 4 people coming today.

Yesterday I had some young man stand and watch while I was spitting blood lifting 3 enormous Hostas without even the offer of help:mute:. Decided I would charge him 3 times what I had intended to ask for them...lazy bu..er. The Hostas had at least 50 growing points on them each. Anyway he went off with them somewhat poorer:)

Got 4 more people coming today, 2 tomorrow and 1 on Wednesday so far.Hopefully I will be able to give a really good spot of cash to the hedgie man which should keep them fed for quite a while. I will then book myself into a rest home to recover:).

Not quite on the scale of the amazing job @shiney does for charity but trying to do my bit and it would have been a sin to just compost all these perfectly healthy plants which I have had for many years.

Thank you @Snorky85. I was born in Buckinghamshire so unfortunately I know I am not just down the road from you. Someone did drive 2 hours to get here yesterday tho! He knew the price of plants and said the amount of each plant I was selling made my plants about 100th cheaper than the shops so reckoned he could afford a bit of petrol!
I'm always rather dubious about giving money to some of these multi £1,000,000 charities but have no doubt whatsoever that the money I raise goes to what it should. The old boy who runs the sanctuary has 7! wooden sheds in his not that big garden. He not only takes in hedgies that are too small to hibernate he also takes in injured ones and if they are not well enough to be released he lets them just stay with him for the rest of their lives so it does take a good bit of money to keep the grub going and keep their bedding hygenic. If I make say £500 I'll give him the majority of it and give the balance to my neighbour who runs a cat sanctuary. She runs 3 charity shops and gets loads of donations but can always do with extra pennies.

That's so nice @silu :)I too donate to a friends dog charity that's very small but also SPANA as I do trust them and what they do.

Shame I'm not in the position to have excess plants to sell off too!

Gosh yes forgot about SPANA I know 1 of the chief vets. Trust them much more the Brooke to be honest. I will give them the excess over £500 if there is any as the cat sanctuary does pretty well from bequeaths and the shops. Thanks for the reminder @Snorky85

@silu I give you :dbgrtmb::dbgrtmb::dbgrtmb::dbgrtmb::dbgrtmb: because the rating buttons wouldn't let me :)

I'm going to do some tinkering later with the timers in my greenhouse. They are running fans and I want to get the most use out of my batteries as possible without running them down too far. The air circulation really helps keep the warmer air mixed and off the ceiling too.

It is going to be a rainy chilly day and I have a get together with my girlfriends so I won't be up to much more out there.

Just finished tidying the shed and also made a climbing frame for some sweet peas next to the beans at the back of the raised flower beds:smile:

Its been a good day in the garden for me so far. I've more or less finished off the hedging, bagged all the cuttings ready for the shredder, edged some of the lawn, and removed weeds from two of the rose beds. I nice cup of tea now, and then I'll do the last job of the day. That will be putting a bit of iron sulphate on some moss in the lawn. By the time I scarify in a few days time, it should be quite dead and come out easily.
