Leave room for some of the stuff i'm bringing up to Shiney's Snork :snorky:

Just pulled some of the nettles and brambles out of the semi wild fruit garden. There's 3 Blackcurrants and a Grape vine in there somewhere :snork: DSCI0001 (14).JPG

Neither do I. Got to rush as I'm off to Wickes for another 500 litres, or so, of compost. :rolleyespink:

Went up the plot, potted on melon, chillis, toms, and a few other things. Watered the plot over, they've gone on hols, watered their and another person's things, who's in hospital after surgery, in the polytunnel.

Came back home was going to pot up summer pots, noticed a whole shelf of my nicotiana, petunias and other bedding plants had been knocked over by wind/cat or something else, thought balls and came in.

Feel even more deflated having just heard the news that the person who was in hospital has passed away. Was only in his mid 50's and such an upbeat person.. life is cruel.

I was very restrained and only bought 420 litres of compost. :) We've already used 140 litres of it for potting up :rolleyespink:

Fed chillies as they are in flower. :blue thumb: Sown French and Bridgewater beans.

Been working on planting out or potting up most of the day. Got lots of tomatoes planted and lupins and placed the marigolds out where they will go. The greenhouses are now full with hot peppers which never go outside.

Thought I'd get the dirty work (planting out toms) when I was still in my jammies and before the neighbours get out of bed, then get myself cleaned up and into fresh clothes. Well, now my fresh clothes need to go in the laundry too. The knees on my jeans are crusted in mud. So much for that plan.

The trees are in full bloom. The snow cloud on one side of the yard looks awesome and the crab apple tree's dark pink flowers are very pretty too.

Pooped and am quitting for the day. Still need to put up some mesh on the back fence for the sweet peas but that shall have to wait for another day.

Looks like we are all getting lots of fresh air and should sleep well!

                            Cheers :)

Mowed and edged the lawn, just to tidy it up really - there's hardly any growth at the moment as it's so dry.

Sowed some butternut squash and my second batch of sweet corn in the greenhouse.
