:Wino:Blimey I Have got behind with this thread as I was only on page 44:snorky:

Mowed our lawns for the second time this week as we have just got back from two weeks away and the grass was quiet tall so had to set the blades higher when I first did it on Wednesday:snorky:

Also been trying to pull up the Aqualigia(sp) plants now that the flowers have gone over so that I can make some room as the borders are getting a bit too crammed.Same with the Red Campion, some of them need to come out as they have flopped all over other plants:sad:

My allotment compost heaps will be glad of all this new material:biggrin:

Now having to rest as my tootsies are killing me:sad:

Oh and have done a spot of sun worshipping this afternoon to keep my VitaminD levels topped up:hotsun:

PS,We have also fitted in a 2.5 mile walk before tea,one reason why my feet are aching:biggrin:

                Mowed and edged the lawn.

In the veg plot, planted out the second sowing of sweet corn and some butternut squash plants in amongst the sweet corn.

Did the third and final sowing of sweet corn in the greenhouse and a little training and side shooting of the tomatoes and cucumbers.

Potted up some of the hardy perennials I have grown for the new herbaceous border I want to put in. Need to get rid of the lawn and create the border now.

Cleaned the kids hose slide and sorted toys, we had 25 footballs in the garden :gaah:

I think so @Sheal - it was all pretty similar to the pictures earlier in the thread showing the 'bad' corner when we moved in, and it has been getting on my nerves, so I decided to do something about it. As you know, I had given up on the garden by this time last year, and I am utterly determined that this year will be at least a half decent, if not good, garden year!

Video showing the colour range of the gazebo lights will follow soon - just waiting on it processing

Video is now done - a very brief idea of the lights, controlling them from my phone (hence me peering downwards at the start of the video):

I'm surprised at how much you are allowed to do. I'm not allowed to do anything here apart from pull weeds from the gravel drive. Having said that there isn't a garden attached to the place I'm in but the other three 'lets' here have lawns tended by a local firm.

I liked the video of your lights, the purple works for me.

Our landlady is really good to be honest - wants this to be our home, and not just a renter; that said, all I have done really is to repair/restore the patio and then assemble my own 'temporary' structures on the top.

I used a plug and socket arrangement that is designed to be fully submersible (for pond pumps and the like), so I can unplug the gazebo in seconds if needs be, and it is all fully earthed and appropriately fused etc, so totally safe.

I like the purple too - in fact, I have left them on and dimmed the lights down a bit - looks pretty good, even though I do say it myself :)

You're soooo clever @fat controller ! :) I wouldn't be able to get my head around your phone let alone rig up lights to work from it.
