I was reading a gardening book this morning and, taking on board some of the advice, I moved my woodland pot to a different location in the garden. I'm glad I did, it looks so much better now; more "balanced". Funny how just moving one thing can total change the view.

I potted up some tomato, cucumber and watermelon seedlings.
Sowed some little gem lettuce, birds eye and basket of fire chillies, little leo sunflowers.

Sorted out one side of my greenhouse with new sunken ring culture tomato pots (from B&Q now on offer at £2 for three pots) and filled them with my own compost mix.

Potted on my Italian Cypress seedlings that I grew from seeds last year.

Top dressed some perennials in pots.

Keep the patronising to a minimal and also correct the instigators and you can uncross them fingers :lunapic 130165696578242 5:.

Done a few jobs this evening before it went dark.

Weeded some of the borders again, must mean the soil warming up with weeds germinating, a lot more plants are showing now.
Kniphofia Timothy has been attacked by slugs, so dug it up and potted it up. I was moving anyway so i let it recover first.
Dug up and removed all the old strawberry plants.
Give the veg bed a good mulch of home made compost.
Feed and dressed with Ericaceous compost blue berry so did the skimmia - camellia while I was at it.
Moved the Ligularia Little rocket a little bit, it was to close to the Actaea.

I seem to be finding plastic everywhere in the garden, I don't know where its all comes from

Think I will have to go round some of the plants with the slug wool pellets next week.
Snow forecast tomorrow morning, good news its going to change to rain at dinner time hopefully.
