I've discovered I don't mind weeding too much. By their nature they are fairly easy to dislodge. I crawl around on my board and poke at them with my trowel. They soon pop out. The weeds in the gravel drive are a different kettle of fish altogether. :gaah:

Hi @Gail_68 . It's doing alright. I will get around to taking a photo of it at some point soon. I will take a photo of my mum's rose too. I haven't seen it recently but I understand it is currently in bud. I will wait until it blooms before I take a picture of it.

Hello been rather busy the past couple of days. Weather been very warm and humid the past few days with the rare shower, had a bit more than a shower this afternoon but doesn't take long to dry up. Its probably been the best / driest weather we have had here for quite a while, can't remember when the weather was last this good.

Had a trip to the GC while the rain suspended work, got 12 bags of compost ( 4 for next door ) and a bag of manure for bannana - canna - dahlia's. Got myself a Ligularia Brit marie Crawford and another salvia maincht.

Managed to get both plants planted when I got home, and planted astrantia snow star salvia carradonna together with the the ligularia in the background, bit worried the Ligularia may grow over the lawn and bully its neighbours. Moved a few plants around when I planted salvia maincht, had a dilemma which way round to plant anemone wild swan and aquilegia yellow queen to match up best with the salvia.

Not really sure. Some smelly lotions and creams and things. I'm sure my wife will be able to tell me what to do with them.

Awww, bless him :). A shower will be easier and food rewards soon build positive associations with bathing. We put the cat in the shower. He doesn't like it either, lots of wailing and swearing ( bare skin in close proximity to teeth and claws is cause for some anxiety :loll: ), but sometimes needs must and a tin of Thrive soon made him forget about it the indignity of it all :snorky:

So did I at 6.30am :). Sooo beautiful there yesterday morning, early morning sunshine bathing everything in warm soft glow, sea very calm and blue, gentle waves lapping at shore. Only one other person there and not near me :yay:. Took some great pics.
