Well today I went to 3 garden centres and plants brought again...only 6 :snorky: as I felt them calling me :phew:

When we got back all 5 plants from across the decking front have been removed plus brought to more bags of Multi purpose compost :)

@Sheal you're supposed to collect them and leave them out in the sun to dry! :nonofinger:

Watched a lot of tennis on the box. Then listened to more on the little TV in our tea-house, whilst I dead-headed two rhodos, at the bottom of the garden, (a really boring job). I kept breaking off to watch bits of Marco Cecchinato beating Novak Djokovic, 3-1 to reach the French Open semi-final. Pruned off a lot of unwanted side shoots from three wisterias.
            Then watered "everything."

That was the problem @shiney, they were starting to set like rock in the sun on the lawn, so I blasted them.

They work well in a wood burner if dried first. :blue thumb:

I've dug a number of rocks out of one of the lawns and rebuilt a small dry stone wall. Dug out a fern, not an easy job with tree roots intertwined, but pruners helped there. I also dug two of the holes for the Rugosa's with the same problem but they are now in. I'll tackle the other two tomorrow, hopefully that should be a little easier with not so many trees on the other lawn.

Been digging more bindweed out, that stuff is giving me nightmares :gaah: I keep dreaming about white roots erupting out of the soil :rolleyespink: like the ' magic porridge pot ' :yikes:
Planted some more annuals and sowed some basil and gherkins. I started a thread about sowing seeds last night, not sure where it went
