upload_2018-6-8_23-40-5.jpeg I think you`d better have this for next time -just in case. If you get stuck in that pond of yours, and nobody finds you in time, I shall have no difficulty writing a poem as an epitaph :cry3::loll:

Well, I do tend to lose all sense of time while wading around, I must admit, but when you have several Frogs staring at you only inches away you know you're in the midst of Nature.:heehee:

I also lose track of time when I start a project where I am the sole participant . I like my "hermit" time. And I stoked up on Christmas cake before starting today's job. Went pretty steady for 6 hours with only a few breaks to get a tea or lose one :)

Naah, I'll just give the Boys a ring to get me out.

Here lies the body of Jonathan Ground,
Who was lost at sea and never found

ere lies poor stingy Timmy Wyatt,
Who died at noon and saved a dinner by it.

Here lies the body of Mary Ann Bent,
She kicked up her heels, and away she went

Here lies a man names Zeke.
Second fastest draw in Cripple Creek

                Here lays Butch,
                We planted him raw.
He was quick on the trigger,
                But slow on the draw.

Here lies the body of our Mandy
Who was dredging his pond for some candy
                  His waders filled up
                  Like a giant tea cup
Now frogs find his carcass quite handy!

                  Who needs a lily pad....

On a more serious note, please be careful... Oakville Mum says so..

They found him on Sunday with sludge on his chin -
He`d furckled, and nobody knew where he`d bin
`twas secret you see- hidden up by a hedge.......
and bog plants and Scirpus and Typha and Sedge.
A lone baby robin sang his sad little ditty
as they pulled out our Mandy....
                    oh sod, what a pity

Most of my garden time at this time of year is mowing, watering and pulling bindweed and rose bay willowherb. :phew:
