aww bet that was lovely having 6 fox cubs. I'm incredibly jealous. They are such beautiful creatures. Your lawn looks fab too.

Had a good go in the garden today after spending the last few weeks mainly doing pond stuff and my other family history hobby.

Got the builders starting on new office/greenhouse a week on Monday. So moved rhododendron so builders can have better access through fence. Dug in a big pile of manure (to stop mutt from eating it -blurgh) Then chopped back some of the alchemilla mollis as it was taking over. Finished planting in shineyland purchases that are now in their final place. Cleared out cold frame and planted up loads of cuttings etc into pots. Moved a few plants around. Made purhases of a couple of semperivums and got ones which were huge and needed splitting! So made a selection of them using my great grandads terracotta pots that my grandma recently gave me :)

In the middle of all that i had a "mild" migraine. Came in at 9pm!

Even a small area left to go wild will help :)

I'm not sure what I shall be doing today as we've just got back from a week away. I'll see if I can fit in mowing the main lawns.

Can’t remember who it was that was talking about Pine Berries other than me but here are the first ones that we picked today.Had to take over from Mr Kandy as the ones he picked weren’t quiet ripe:snorky: Some of them have come out a bit on the small side but I think that is mainly due to the dry weather we have got at the moment as even our spuds are starting to wilt as is my butterfly trees so am having to water those and I think we shall have to water the taters with a hosepipe:sad:

Forgot to add the Broad Beans they we picked as well yesterday that Mr Kandy has now podded

It will come to us all unfortunately shiney :frown:, i am 51 this year and still think i am quite fit for my age,

Working in the building trade nearly all my life ive seen it times many buy a big house and garden old age comes and you end up with a wilderness you cant do anything with it makes more lazy later in life because you don't know where to start and you know your not capable and the house get run down with it, we bought this house to sell but we like it here so stopping here until where carried out in a box

Another garden of mine, ive been working on this house since Christmas mainly indoors when i bought it there was no fence to the left and you couldn't see the greenhouse for ivy tress and brambles, ive got most of it clear but wont be doing much more as i will be putting it up for sale in the very near future.

Stick a house/bungalow on it save a nice little garden space for you and Mrs S sell the new property and enjoy your later years with more holidays and less garden work :).
