@wiseowl how about a lion competition :heehee: come on how much did you pay for yours:scratch:...as I've saw them up the garden centre in the past at £80 each and more to what garden centre you see them...mine I have only cost £25 each:whistle:

Good afternoon @Doghouse Riley I have now rubbed some good old Kentish mud on their boots:heehee:

Good afternoon @luciusmaximus and @Gail_68 my friends
I have had to come in for 5 minutes as the wind is so strong I've had to attach a safety line to the fence and put my deep sea diver's boots on:lunapic 130165696578242 5:

@Gail_68 it's meant to be dropping down to 40mph later on, but here until the weekend. I think there must be another storm coming in from somewhere.

You are a braver and better person than me Woo. I could go into the garden and do a few things despite the wind and sleety flurries. Alternatively I could stay right where I am, which is on the sofa in the conservatory watching the weather in warmth and comfort .......... now, let me see :lunapic 130165696578242 5: :lunapic 130165696578242 5:

@wiseowl You dropped on there as they're expensive to buy...got mine from a unit I saw a few years back with two chaps starting out in the moulding business of garden ornaments, so I soon brought them but they're a right weight :)

Its quite cold here too. I really want to get outside so I'm hopeful for the weekend. Although, if it is nice hubby will want to go walking or cycling, so might not get much done anyway.

I just like to sit in the sun if it's out for an hour or two the most, it gets you out the property.

Enjoy your cycling or walk if you choose either :dbgrtmb: and I hope it's nice for you both :)

Got to 2pm and I was sliding around in the mud falling over the wheel barrow!! However, I’m showered and clean, can of lager in hand and off to the Italian for a romantic meal!

A gazebo wouldn't last two minutes up here. I did think about a chimera or a fire pit, but I'm inclined to think we'd get smoked out :heehee: :loll:
