Can anybody recommend a sprinkler for the lawn that won't break the bank?

Thanks @kazzawazza . It's difficult to see it properly from the packaging. The nearest Poundstretcher to us is about 15 miles. My wife's sister lives out that way. She was there today. It's a shame we didn't have this discussion yesterday.

We have Range, B&M, Wilkinson and QD close to us ( plus Aldi % Lidl). I'm certain one of those would have something but I don't really want to trail round them all.

The range website list about a dozen varieties, all for not much money. I Don't know if they keep any of them in stock. It might be worth a punt if they do. I was there today. I didn't know I wanted one then.

I looked a bit closer and it would come from China. It might take a month to get here.

OMG, 49p.

 

I use a sprinkler hose here.....I find it ideal. Around £15 I think. Turned upside down and it becomes a soaker hose. Water where I want it too.
I got some hose fittings from China once...the quality was awful so it was a waste of money. And, yes, I waited a while for them to come too
So far, the lawns look good but I dont water more than twice a week even in this hot, dry spell

 

Cleaned the guttering, window, doors and fascias on the garage. Put first coat of hammerite on a metal plant stand I bought for £5 in a charity shop awhile ago. Watered the baths ( and picked some Herbs for the bunnies dinners at the same time ). Swept the patio and scrubbed the patio table as was covered with bird poo, mainly Starling .

With the weather being hot I have needed to keep the bird baths topped up with fresh water every couple of hours. Entertained by three Sparrows bathing in the belfast sink pond . I would like to make the bathing area bigger but I don't have anywhere to put the plants yet. Maybe I will look for another sink

Spent rest of day in the shade reading.

 

I make a homemade feed for my lawn. Organic seaweed, water ( tap or rain ) and compost. You can either mix it all together and water in or sprinkle the compost on the grass dry and mix the seaweed and water together. Might deter doggy perhaps.

 

Thinking of just buying this kit...it would sure save a lot of time

Incidentally is anyone using or has used Epsom Salts on their lawns...I use it for Tomatoes, Lettuce and Chilli Peppers with great results but just wondering if anyone has had any experience on lawn usage.
