Diss alana? Isnt that where Bressingham Gardens are? Always been on my "to visit" list:)

Not much in the garden except move Abelia Confetti, divide pennisetum Rubrum
Eaton Canyon and pot up daffodil bulbs.

    Beautiful day here

Next year Woo, grow your own wallflowers. Seed sown in spring will produce plenty of plants as good, if not better, than those you can buy :)

Not doing much today, having a day off. My companions away on one of her hols this week and staying with her friend and I’m resting my ribs which still hurt after a 2 year gap. Hate getting old!

Been out most of the day on dog business, home now in agony, hope the pain killers kick in soon!

I've got an appointment on the 11th next month, so hopefully I'll get this bloomin hernia sorted in time for next years veggie growing.

Did some cutting yesterday of salvia and monarda and the odd other plant.

Been preparing the back lawn for the past month or so, the weather really slowed me down. Was hoping to have it seeded at least 2 week ago, done the penguin shuffled all over it today to push out air / firm the soil, need to buy some top soil and do more raking and then it should be ready to seed. I bought a huge bag of grass seed far more than I need but they only sell it in 20kg bags, looks like the front lawn going to get dug up soon.

Any chance of a video of you doing the penguin shuffle Perki ? :snorky:

This evening moved a couple of echinaceas (Tiki Torch) and agapanthus Golden Drop. Discovered an old terracotta pot so will use it for an echeveria. :)

Thinning out the Greenhouse...Tomatoes are all but spent for this season so cutting and disposing of the vines into the bin...Removing some foliage from the chilli plants to afford the fruit more light to ripen

@BigC they're looking good, never thought of removing the leaves off chilli plants.

Not doing anything in the garden, it's drizzling heavily.

They look good, healthy plants @wiseowl and smart pots.
I've been shovelling the earth from the overground pond which has been used as a raised bed for a few years. Lots of bulbs and hellebores in there which I have to find homes for:)
The stones have been numbered and photographed as they were dismantled so we have a good chance of repositioning it. The place we have chosen for it to go is choc-a-bloc with plants so lots of changes going on in the garden. Fun times ahead:snorky:
                            Now off out for lunch:yay:

Yeah I do it with the Tomatoes too lets more air and light around the plant...This Bhut jolokia plant has been very productive and sturdy bush for me this year and I may take some cuttings as well as seeds to over winter in the house..I'm researching how to do this in water untill roots form in much the same way as I propagate my Strawberry plantlets. I do not wish to lose this Chilli plant if I can help it.
