:rain: and :rain: all night and most of today. Garden partially flooded again so slipping and sliding through puddles of mud everywhere whilst sorting out the outdoors :hhog: and feeding :sparrow:. R informed me - as he leaving for work - that water was pouring out of one of the gutters. So spent 20 mins up a wobbly ladder in the pouring rain pulling out leaves and twigs. At least the rain is good for new pond :snorky:.

Sorry, @luciusmaximus but they're getting out of hand. they're tunnelling from our garden under the fence to next door and under their patio. The holes/tunnels are quite big but not big enough for rabbits - which are happily digging in the garden! The local authority no longer send the ratcatcher round and the neighbours will soon be having the grandchildren playing in their gardens. Why can't the rats stay in the fields where they don't interfere with any of us?

Sounds like the cat isn't earning it's keep @shiney!

Small bit of seed-sowing this afternoon - trying coreopsis, guara and silene for the first time. I have an ever-increasing list of spring clean up jobs to tackle but it's refusing to stay dry long enough to start as yet. Here's hoping tomorrow's forecast proves wrong...

First of all i'd just like to give a big :thankyou: to @Verdun & also other GC Members who contributed towards the best grasses for my front garden :star::grphg: but garden centres are limited to so many :)

Today my other half started :dig: out the bottle brushes on the front and they had completely gone but he worked between dry and wet weather alternating :dunno:...I couldn't thank him enough :love30:

Bare in mind when viewing the pic's of the grasses they are only young and need to establish :)

@Verdun the yellow look beautiful but the other's being young it seems weird  it's through seeing the bottle brushes for so long down the boarder :)

It has been raining seriously all day, so just potted up some younglings at the kitchen sink, thinned baby plum tomato seedlings which apparently have 999% germination rate, painted grey pots white and helped the Teenager with her huge board game project.

Doing something together with a Teenager, talking and laughing surely counts as gardening? She seems quite healthy, vigorous and moderately invasive. I wish some propagation will happen in the (not too near) future. :) [IMG]

My pink pampas grasses are growing in their pots also, as you can see from the middle which is shorter...I didn't do them right to the top because of them being moved :)
