    It was dry this morning, so we played golf, but rain was expected at mid-day, so we exercised some "astute course management".. We missed out four holes! So got in about twenty past twelve and missed most of the rain! It hasn't stopped since.

    As you'll see from my previous photo, there's nothing urgent that requires my immediate attention. Those roses in the ceramic pots on the patio need pruning, hopefully my wife will get round to doing those on the first dry day. She likes to do those herself. She thinks I'm too ruthless when I prune "stuff."

        :rain::rain::rain::rain::rain: followed by :rain::rain::rain::rain::rain::rain:
        and then :rain::rain::rain::rain::rain::rain::rain::rain:. Fed up with :rain: and its turned very cold. Weather forecast is predicting snow next week :yikes:. Still looking at properties in Cornwall, Devon, South Wales and Kent ( not my choice ).

        @Verdun I think Nico would melt even the fiercest of hearts, who could possibly resist him :wub2::). And, hasn't he grown:)

          @luciusmaximus I know exactly how you feel, and the forecast for my area is the same well into next week.

                  Salvaged from the back garden.Blown over and stems broken by the strong winds. Might look pretty but the
                  perfume is similar to ( my olfactories )to adhesive solvent.

                    Another polytunnel day. Moved some staging from the outbuilding to the tunnel so that I could move stuff about. A bit of a tidy up, potted on some plants and sowed another 20 cactus varieties. More of the same tomorrow

                      Not much time for the garden but I potted on 30 - 40 sunpatiens. ( sunpatiens are still growing well outside as are gazanias, pelargoniums and more). Hordeum jubatum too are romping away. :)

                        It is above freezing and the sun is shining opn my smaller greehouses which enabled me to pry apart some 50 liter bags of potting soil. I also made my way to the back of the yard. Got my pants soaked because my boots only go up to my knees and the snow is a bit higher than that. Pulled all of the pots out of the "shed" and loaded most of them and the soil into the van to take to my son. I had far too many lots for my own use so am glad he can use them.

                        Just waiting for the last load of laundry to finish drying and then I'm on the road to my son's. About 45 minutes from nere so not a long drive.

                        Earlier I put more new seedlings down under the lights in the cellar as I am running out of space in the heated greenhouse. All in all a good mornings work :)

                          @CanadianLori your set up looks fab! Can’t believe you’ve still got so much snow. Id be going mad. You do so well with your growing considering you have such a short season in comparison to the uk.
                          Must admit, I was extremely envious of the growing conditions in san francisco. I kept looking at plants thinking about how they’d die outside over here.

                            Heavy snow showers today and on and off for the next week, so nothing happening here again. The lawns desperately need their first cut of the season, but at this rate I'll be strimming them not mowing. :doh::)

                                Well, I don't go commando :heehee:

                                Over here, a jumper is a simple shift dress...or what is commonly called a cable for boosting a car battery.

                                When I read that one of you married fellows was wearing a jumper, I was wondering if the other half approved :hate-shocked:
