That sounds dreamy @Sheal they are beautiful animals and I love seeing them from a distance. Apparently when I was a toddler I wondered off into the local rag and bone mans yard and was found sat under his Shire horse. It had a terrible reputation for not being friendly so I caused absolute panic. Nobody could approach the horse and I wouldn't come out from under it. A few hours later I did and everything was fine but that's the only ever experience I've had with them. I have tried since but freeze and just can't do it

Thanks Jasmine. :) I'll see if I can get a picture of them at some point but they're in a large sloping field and spend a lot of time at the other end where they shelter.

I like your story. The Shire horse was obviously comfortable with you sitting underneath. Like most animals they have a sixth sense and know what to fear or protect.

Decided that I'd adjust one of the sprinkler heads and just as I pulled it up out of the ground, the water cycled to it. So I had a shower at the same time

I scrubbed trays and also took down a couple of sad looking hanging pots.

My peppers are doing great and will be going for at least another month. The Shineybrids are 3 feet tall and have a bazillion peppers at varying stages of colouring. The super hots are over the 4 foot mark and producing nicely too. My tomatoes now need harvesting here and tnere every day and my marijuana is starting to thicken up with flowers. My kelsaes are not so good this year. Can't have it all!

Cut and fed the lawn today and divided the Calla lily and repotted. It was completely pot bound. Repotted some chilli plants I've grown from seeds (not a clue what I'm doing) but they seem to be growing well :noidea: tomato plants are over 6ft now and resemble a messy forest :heehee:
All the Snapdragons I sewn from seed I collected last year are flowering and I've got 1 odd colour. All are yellow except 1 :th scifD36:

@Tinkerbelle61 Logan is correct about Fuego. They should be hot if their name is correct and turn red. It may take another month or so for them to go red. You can always pick them before they turn red but they are unlikely to be so hot. Some people prefer their chillies that way.

I am not doing anything but the guys are pollarding the Jacarandas, Almond, Oleader, Myoporo and Melaleuca so it has been chainsaws roaring since 8.30am. I just popped out to look and chat and :yikes: how can they do so much in an hour! There is a naked garden out there. :hate-shocked: Stu asked if I wanted the Callistemon cut back and I said a big NO. Piccies later.

Been very busy with art stuff so no time for gardening. My gardens have become a bit too wild and it's going to take awhile to get it back to the controlled wilderness I like. Trying to get a few things together for xmas and then going to have an art break for awhile, except for painting. Planning on spending the winter gardening and decorating. That's the plan but you know what tends to happen to the best laid laid plans :heehee:. I can't ,with all honesty, say I'm looking forward to tackling the brambles.
