Finished digging and planting up the fruit bed so we'll at least have some strawbs and rasps next year. We have some existing strawbs which I've called the house ones, some Fenella and a variety which is dark rad and utterly gorgeous that I sowed from ones we got at a pick your own this year. Rasps are all new and Fallgold and Polka

Dug out a brick path, finding out that they did a double layer of bricks so have more than expected out of that! I'm looking to get enough together of 'old' bricks so I can incorporate into a terrace area next year.

More tidying of a front border and discovered several different azaleas and an utterly savage rose, you can barely see the stem for thorns! Have also noticed some form of bulbs coming up all over :) Going to be a good spring by the looks of it!

Agree with @Sheal :blue thumb: We have a 20ft bed of them outside the back door and they have a lovely scent. The bed was already there when we moved in 49 years ago and decided not to dig it up when we laid the patio and put up the greenhouse. So the greenhouse ended up 5ft further away than planned. :)

Looks very similar to that @Sheal and definitely smells great.

Didn't get too much done in own garden but helped out at a school to start clearing their beds in prep for new gardening club thingy. Someone started it a while back but it's just totally overgrown and ramshackle now. Plenty of work still needed!
Back at home it was more to do with fitting a flue liner, easier said than done on the roof and not a lot to show for it! (and yes, those are broken roof tiles courtesy of my butt and boot)

Working from Home today and for the rest of the week:hapydancsmil: So I took the camera and had an amble around the garden to bring me up to date on it's present untidy state:doh::heehee:
The Potting Table, in three pics, at the moment which is slightly over crowded with all sorts of Hardy Perennials waiting to go in the borders in Spring

The Patio is also looking a little crowded and I need to do some reorganising

The very front row in front of the large Bearded Iris pots are Hardy Perennials ready for Spring planting while there's another "clump" of pots of Hardy Perennials by the Compost Bins.

The Rose "King's Ransom" which has never liked my sandy soil is still trying to put out buds a s well

@ARMANDII you've got a lot of pots to water there, but looking great. Do you know the names of the 2 collections of watering cans, is it something like penstemon?:heehee:

Tied in the last 3 blackberry canes, to the one didn't seem to grow well this year, it only had 2 short canes.
The other day I emptied 1 compost bin and put it in bags but hubby said that they would be in the way so had to move them. They were too heavy to drag along so i had to get it out by putting some in a washing up bowl and tip it into a container out of the way.

Shovelled my way to the greenhouse and a path to the birdfeeder. The snow is compacting down as it is going just above freezing.

Ooh @CanadianLori Look you've got snow already! I wish we could have a bit of snow. Wet sleet forecast for Thursday and Friday here.

Planted all my tulips this morning. That is all gardening wise.

I like to watch snow falling but when it comes to walking the boys I don't like so much especially when it melts and freezes again. Hopefully we won't get a lot.
