Cut the grass today, just in time before tonights torrential rain.

Yesterday I dug some of the veg patch over in a re-shape project, this involved turning the 4 squares I did have into 2 large rectangles, leaving a single central strip of grass which is easier and less fiddily to cut. Got a few other bits to do but so far so good :dbgrtmb:

What job was I doing in the garden today? Keeping my six year old grandson amused, kicking a ball around! I'm now shattered and have a limp, having pulled a muscle in my thigh. I'm too old for this lark! :heehee:

Oh Dear, Sheal . Sorry to hear that. Wish you better.

I've done more mowing and more weeding. Picked beans, courgettes, blackberries and the last of the golden plums. Put sprinkler on beans and courgettes and will move it to other parts of veggie area as the cracks in the ground will soon be wide enough to see Australia.

I now also have a bit of a problem.

It's time for another bonfire and I was going to do it this weekend. Unfortunately, the bonfire heap has benn field mousickled. When I was mowing around there they were running out of the heap. I really don't want to roast the dear little things but don't know what to do. :what: :dunno:
