I know exactly what you mean Jenny - I'm going to miss all the colour that I can see from my French doors at the moment.

Strimmed and mowed the back lawn. Watered the toms and cucumbers.

Wondered why we haven't had any rain since 8th August ... got step ladder out and removed spider's nest from the tipping-bucket sensor on the weather station.

    Now we have rain :)

(I could have just stuck my nose out of the window each day of course, but where's the fun in that?!!)

You're kidding me? They are homeless now. I think it is abhorrent the way these spiders get on the property ladder dreaming of the high life in a tipping-bucket weather station sensor ...

I'm sure they earned their keep by catching some nasty flying thingies - but I agree that they should have asked for permission to use the sensor.

Battled the wind for a bit, as it was blowing my fuchsia cuttings about the place, before giving up and hauling the lot into the polytunnel, then a quick watering session before heading back indoors to watch the rain and wind batter everything else in the garden.

Well after the rain had stopped, I managed to clear away my pumpkin plant that sadly lost its only pumpkin which was on course to be a BIGGIE :frown:

Planted a Logan Berry bush that I've had growing on in a pot in to the veg patch.

Did some weeding and general tidying up too..:dbgrtmb:

        Hi All,

I've been decorating my sons bedroom for the last 2 days so I have not been In the garden. I got it all finished late afternoon so I spent about an hour collecting seeds with my son after dinner. Very enjoyable trying to show my son how to collect them and then he just chucks the whole seed pod onto the garden or run off around the garden with them laughing whilst I chased after him. It made me giggle.
