Potted up the 12 x 1" modules containing Wallflower "Persian Carpet" into 3" pots. Glad I left it til today, it was calm, warm and sunny by the front garden wall and I made a better job of it than I would have done yesterday afternoon. It was cold, gusty and not inviting then. Sowed a seed head of fresh Silene Acaulis seeds from a friend's plant into a small tray of seed compost. A pretty little thing that will fit into my postage stamp plot - somewhere.

I just got underway mowing my front lawn and a huge black cloud came over, the heavens opened and it absolutely poured down for fifteen minutes. I was like a wet rag after getting the lawnmower tucked away. So a good time to break for lunch. :) An hour or so later I went out to finish the front and did the back after. I hate mowing wet grass!

Watered toms and cu's and picked what was ripe. Cleaned out the bird bath again, the starlings make such a mess of it.

Yesterday I popped round my mother-in-law's to tidy her garden (just a bit of weeding and pruning) and then I returned home to pot up 30 or so young perennials; that I've grown from seed this year, into 1 and 2lt pots......:blue thumb:

Finally I've managed to get the supports in for the crocosmia... so things are looking a little tidier (oh dear... just noticed the edging needs work... it is never ending!):

There is a horrid bit of garden I'm working on at the moment... the weed-killer has managed to take most of the nettles out, so I've been out there digging up the roots, brambles and ivy. The area is too ugly to photograph!
