I'm lucky in that I have never smoked so never had to give up either ...

Gave up alcohol 18 months ago. No waking at 3am for an hour every night now, don't wake up groggy after a "good session" :heehee:, don't have to worry about being fit to drive if the teenage kids phone late at night for assistance ... glad I did that, and can't say I miss it.

I don't drink either, gave it the elbow when mrs al was preggers with our first 4 years ago.

I occasionally have a glass of cider, or a spritzer, but very rare. I cook a lot with booze so I've always got some in, for guests as well of course.

Cut the lawns front and back dead headed the geraniums in the basket , trimmed the leaves on the daylily to give the bed a good tidy up , so not looking that bad.

Trimmed some of my apple tree, running out of space in my bin.

Tidied up some beds and cut back some shrubs. Cleared up fallen pears and put in composter.

Getting some of my fuchsia's bought in and potted up to overwinter.

                    Planning work for Sunday.:ccheers:
