I didn't do a lot yesterday. I tried to get the bonfire going but don't think it did well - haven't checked back but it was dying down as the wood was too wet and it got dark before I could go and look.

There's lots of lawn edging to get done and it will take me weeks . Only managed 30ft before my back told me to stop. The cutting is quite easy but picking the stuff up and weeding the edges isn't

This bed may look a bit sparse at the moment but in a week or two there will be some nice colour in it as the pulmonaria are starting to flower. By this time next month there won't be any soil visible as the pulmonaria fill out, the hundreds of cowslips start to come up and the leaves from the aquilegias spread.

The weeding needs to be done before all that and the covering of moss removed.

I'd ask for photos, but I expect the ones you'd upload would look like any other Tomato seedlings

Strimmed around my front garden today then mowed the lawn out there. I say mowed the lawn....not much grass to be seen it's nearly all moss now. Some hard work coming up this year methinks. :)

Love Pulmonarias Shiney. The rapid transformation from apparently dead stuff to full spring colour is amazing. Do you have different varieties? Blue Ensign is my favourite but I have a couple of silver foliage ones too.

I have put put some Iron Sulphate down now, rather than waiting for Spring, as the moss is the worst I've ever seen it.

We have loads but I don't know what type. We don't have any silver leafed ones (jealous!). They were here when we moved in over 40 years ago. These actually change colour from pink to blue as they continue to bloom. This is how they should look in a few weeks. They flower right through April :blue thumb:

Do not know if I have done the right thing
But today I dug my ready compost into my veg plot and intend planting early potatoes in it this weekend ?
