I have potted up a Rosa Mutabilis (through necessity as the terracotta pot had cracked and broken). Couldn't believe how big the rootball was as I only got it last summer :ouch1: Probably something to do with the Rootgrow I used.

I have also sited my new compost bin.

Erected Tunnel inside my conservatory to keep some local-heat for seedlings, and to hang my Metal Halide lamp over - to provide both heat at night, and additional lighting.

With this dryness,I am concerned about the Camellia by the front door and the primulas that I recently planted out in the border. The primulas look a bit limp but if I water them, the water might freeze around their roots at night?

Back in Feb I ordered some strawberry runners for delivery end March - was getting a bit concerned yesterday that they hadn't turned up, only to find that they had been delivered to work on the 13th after I had left for the day & someone had "helpfully" put them in my desk draw & forgot to tell me.

Amazingly plants dont look completely dead, so I left them soaking overnight & planted them up this afternoon - we will see if they make it ; Ive left them in the greenhouse for now. Im using them in my growing stuff in deep guttering up the wall project & this is not the best start.. will post a photo if they survive - they look far too sad at the moment.

It's still too damned cold here too! But quite a few of the overwintered bulbs in the shed and cellar are shooting, so washed pots and repotted them. Potted up my order from Anglia bulbs too.
