I'll have to pick up Mrs C from work first, and then cook dinner - oh, and finish making a blackcurrant trifle. Maybe then I can get a hot bath and a sit down; meantime I hope the pain killers start working soon, coz right now they aren't touching it.

Cant compete with FCs outstanding work, but I built a raised bed in the difficult unloved corner of the garden from some salvaged decking which wasnt quite long enough :

Got a bit of space to fill, inbetween the Hebe & Climbing rose I rescued from the garden center "buy it before it goes in the compost" shelf.. I might put a couple of Bananas in there as its a hot sunny corner. Will see what I feel like tomorrow.

Chucked a load of slug pellets around, sprayed bug clear on my well infested hydrangea. Planted my new ginea impatients and salvias. Watered everything, played swing ball, cooked dinner, put the bin out, had a cuppa cha and a slice of choccy cake!

Potted on my New Zealand Hellebore seedlings today and was on constant 'military' watch :heehee: against an apparently never ending army of the little red devils - Lily Beetles, but I won the war, today anyway :snork:, around 15 of them squished.....:eeew::biggrin:

I have two hopes of that, and one of them used to play golf! Mrs C isn't too well herself, so we will just have to sit here like a pair of old crocs

Very little done today - sciatic nerve is still absolutely screaming at me after yesterday's adventures, so I let the sprinkler take the strain for watering the grass and the borders, and then watered the stuff in the greenhouse once the sun went in.

Sitting with a very hot water bottle at my back just now to try and settle it before bed. :old:

I've moved a number of plants out of the greenhouse to harden off, potted on my tomatoes and washed a load of pots. Oh, yes and finally planted my Sambucus 'Black Lace' out in it's bed. :)
