Do you know anyone that keeps canaries or foreign birds Shiney? They go wild for chickweed! :)

Potted on Cosmos and lots of Nicotiana today. It's the first time I've grown Cosmos, do I pinch out the tops please?

Some friends of ours used to breed birds and they always collected bags of the weed from us. They only gave it to the birds in the breeding season.

Built and painted the roof to the grow house. Started to build the base up, but my drill went flat so that ended that. Moved a rose that I realised was in the way of where the grow house will be situated. Had a wander around the garden having a good mooch at things. Found that the fox gloves that i grew last year from seed are starting to form flower buds and the aquilegia Nora Barlow that have been in for 2 years are also forming flower buds. It's a good job if they didn't flower this year they were coming out.

It's rather showy with its multiple petals but makes a good contrast with the less fancy ones. :blue thumb:

Is it a building painted green? I'm hoping to build a new Gardening Room (lean-to attached to the house) this year. I'm tempted to paint that Green so I can be hard-to-find when I tell Mrs K "I'll be in the Green House" :heehee:

Not much rain here today at all spruce, sun shining at the moment, even finished off (nearly) my planters out the front, only the fuchsias to put in, but will leave that as they are still in greenhouse, Then my dahlias out the front garden and should be finished planting, unless I buy anything else...:lunapic 130165696578242 5:
