Sowed my Chillis and planted a spare Buxus where i had a gap .......

 

Just got in from work to check the garden and the wind has blown some panels out of the greenhouse!

 

Took 6 bags of gravel out from
Where raised beds are going. Smashed up crazy paving. Just got to construct raised beds now. Hopefully get them done by the end of the weekend.

today i put all my seedlings (tomatoes, cucumbers,peas,courgettes, beetroot,onions, lettuces and radishes) and planted my little grape vine plant, i know its probably way to early to plant the seedlings out but iv got plenty of seeds and time, im too exited to wait, we were late last year and didnt have a poly tunnel, so we had a very poor year, i not missing a minuite of sunshine this year haha, im going to put some potatoes in tomorrow, as the price of these in asda has rocketed, so the sooner the better for these, and iv just read its the last chance for garlic too, but i havnt got any so im going to pop to asda tomorrow and get that in, iv got some strawberry , sweet pepper and cayene chilli seeds, taking there time to pop , covered on our kitchen windowsill, and a few sunflowers here and there,

 

Samantha, having just read your post I'm going back to bed! No, you've done masses and I've done very little. Will start today sowing few seeds....you've made me feel guilty. Ha ha

 

This morning I chopped a Camellia right back.. it looks more like a stone pine now . I can't feel my hands now though!

Think I'll sort all the pots out in the greenhouse and wash them.. need to sort them out ready for transplanting in Spring. Extra layers on as it's only 3.8C outside.

 

Well, I WAS going to put my hanging basket brackets up but it's pi..ing down!

 

Yesterday I started to construct my new raised beds, but ran out of materials. Today I was planning on getting the materials and finishing them off. It has not stopped raining all day though, it's an absolute mud bath as well with all the overnight rain. So today I have been indoors putting up flat pack furniture up in the conservatory.

Al how many hanging baskets are you using?

 

I'm having three in the front. Non in the back though. I still haven't chosen what to have in them as yet either. Choices, choices, choices!

 

Treated myself to a Makita drill/driver and some new drill bits so I put the three hanging basket brackets up!

Also painted the chimney pot cream ready for a potted plant of some kind.

 

Potted up some seedlings, cleared shelves in conservatory to take my cuttings and seedlings that need growing on.

I think I will not have much space left soon, so I will utilise my plastic trays to take the overflow. Propagators are now in full use, both electric and normal.

I hope it's nice again on Friday, as I think shall tackle a couple of beds, get them ready for peas and broad beans, Oh, I just love it when we have a bit of sunshine.

 

Yay, the weather forecast is looking promising. Opened up the mini GH. Some trays full of water but things have survived but don't look brilliant I have to say. I had a look at the Begonias in the halfmoon basket. Dry,thank goodness, so I've leaned them up against a tray of rainwater in there, so that they can have a drink. I'll take them back on to dry land again tomorrow. Taken some variagagted Tradescasnthia cuttings and popped them in a little jar to root . They always look nice in with Oxalis Triangularis "Cupido" ,
