Oooooh, I could really go a good Chinese........ :yum:

I'm not too bad thanks - the antihistamines have settled it a bit, its mainly the sore itchy eyes at the moment. I have no idea what made today such a bad day - I don't really get bothered all that much by hayfever nowadays (used to get it real bad when I was a child though); must be quite a specific type of pollen that disagrees with me

No, it has been sunny, with occasional cloud, all day and in the mid-seventies. It started raining very lightly around 7 p.m. (at a guess). It was so light that I kept the sprinkler going and when I went out to turn it off at 9 p.m. the patio was dry.

Yay, no watering to do tonight, after a good soaking last night, and a bit of light rain today.
Just wish it would be a bit warmer.

Even if it's raining we have to do a lot of watering. The hanging baskets always need it as they're mostly sheltered under the eaves and the greenhouse and carport must have well over a thousand plants. It's a good 30 - 45 minutes every day and twice a day for the greenhouse if it's sunny. :phew:

Sorted out a tricky strawberry-growing-up-the-spout problem in one of my homemade hanging baskets -[IMG]

Then cleared up all the pots with the old spring bedding in, cleaned up the bulbs & put them away for next year, havested some rhubarb, broadbeans & an onion that was going to seed then sat down with a beer in the sun.

Thats the kinda Saturday I like.

Cut the lawn after work, weeded..... a lot. Spotted Lilly beetle on my Lillies, and although I think they are pretty little things and a vivid colour I nuked them with bug spray. Edged the borders and gave everything a drink.

Planted 6 coleus I got from the market for a £1.
Got 4 sunpatiens to put in tomorrow that I got for a £1 too
Did abit of weeding between the bedding and watering too.
Put some slug pellets down as well, after a couple of wet days the sligs and snails are munching on my dahlias :gaah:
