What jobs are we doing today in the garden ?

you do too much Folly, you sound just like me, but like i am discovering we need to slow down after these night shift and you need to take care of your neck too xx

nothing done in my garden yesturday due to rain and lack of get up and go

 

I'm going to sand down the plastic chimney pot and start spraying with the terracotta paint . Too windy to do it outdoors, so in the garage - with the car outside.

 

Just put more bark down in the front bit and put some pots out that have been growing in the garden
My begonias have decided to suddenly shoot up in the greenhouse,so have repotted them into a trough...pulling out lobelia,has the recent heavy rain have rotted some GRRR!!!

 

mowed the lawn again after work and cooked dinner, oh, and picked up my sons first bike for his birthday and took it round to his aunties to hide until birthday day. played in the garden with said son and now he's in beddy boes.

 

just watch the fumes in the garage! DEADLEY!!! Be Carefull :WINK1:

 

Dressed the last of my bricks All stacked cleened the patio off loaded OH Dads Van Ready for Tip Run Tommrow

Buzzing like a Bumble Bee Ready to Dig Footings and Start Laying Bricks Enjoyd watching the Dunaks and Sparrows dry bathing in the brick dust and eating the wood lice and small spiders The Birds NOT ME

Planted some Foxgloves and Echinacea. Bit of weeding and feeding. Tied in peas and set up some beer traps.

We might all be forced to eat spiders and flys the way this Country's going Folly Mon.
I survived the spray job on the chimney pot. A friend is going to give me some charcoal dust and I might smear some around the top a bit? And a bit elsewhere, then some watery yoghurt in the flower decorated bits around the top. I hope they will go a bit green and manky.

Well I sent some snails flying this morning, and then later on once the down pour had stopped I went and planted my Euphorbia, more showers so not much done

 

Sulking, the torrent of rain was so servere that it weighed the roof of tomato grow house down so far that the supporting canes have gone straight though it and ripped it to shreds

I've been out all day, but got to do a bit of gardening. The main job was to clean up a big sloppy pile of doggy doos from the middle of my lawn. Put there, I suspect, by the neglected pooch a couple of doors away. I've always said I prefer dogs to cats because dogs are easier to house train. Its just a shame that some owners aren't.

But, on a lighter note, the lad and I did plant up a hanging basket.

 

Out of curiosity, have you cut them down to the ground, and if so why ? Thanks
