      Put 2 Thyme cuttings (from a friend yesterday) into one of my new Gel pots
      Put a stem of Salvia "Laura" in the Gel pot too. Snapped off by a little critter in the night I reckon.
      Made up a wall basket with a Fuchsia "Frosted Flame " in the middle and a Begonia Sutherlandii either side of it. Looks a bit sad and pathetic at the moment, but with all that sunshine we've been promised......
      Tidied up the sweet pea stems - going a bit wayward,

        Planted 3 Astillbies,6 grasses an Astrantia,Agastache (sp) and Heuchera...pulled up what was left of the broad beans and hung them up for my chooks to play with:dbgrtmb:

          Nothing today....but yesterday!! I used the long loppers to prune the "Madame Lemoine" Lilac and then pruned the variegated Mock Orange, pulled out some ambitious Nettles, moved some of the Cannas in large pots to positions in the borders, fed the Tomatoes in the Green House, cut back the Bears Breeches again as it was crowding a Paeony and two Roses. Had a sit in the Arbour with a mug of tea, looking for what else needed to be done. Cut back a hardy Geranium that was covering the path, tied the Honeysuckle and Roses either side of the Arbour more neatly, tied in some of the Clematis on the Trellis Entrance but more need to be tied down [do that tomorrow]. Repotted the Bananas I'd bought from Lidl's into larger pots and also some Dahlias that need going into larger pots. Looked at the sky and decided to retreat before I got soaked.:coffee:

              2 hour gap in shifts and the sun was out :dbgrtmb:

              nipped up the plot picked peas broad beans and my first feed of runners :hapydancsmil:

              :yes: now i'm off to a night shift a happy bunny

                        Hi Sheal (thanks)

                        Its tried and tested "Belgica" Early Dutch ,

                        This one has a story , I had pruned it in the Autumn and in the spring I found a small piece on the ground with a couple of tiny roots I potted it planted it out the following spring and 4 years later has covered the trellis.

                                The path to our front door has been almost halved by Ann Folkard and Buxtons Blue. Trouble is, the best blooms are in the middle of the path so I am reluctant to get the shears to them,
