    I've dug up my "Wildflower" bed. Since sowing the seeds I've had no idea what was weeds and what was "wildflowers".
    Got sick eventually. It's now clear and there's bedding plants to go in tomorrow.
    NO MORE WILDFLOWER PACKETS FOR ME. I'll leave that to Ziggy.

    Fed the birds, walked the dogs, communed with some Aberdeen Angus bullocks and visited my favourite Alder tree in the cow field, so am feeling at one with nature today :wub2:

    Now back to taming nature in my garden - mowed the front lawn, transplanted a Camellia from the back to the front garden and am having a rest before I pot up some roses, lay some bark chippings and dig out soil where a rose was previously so I can plant out my Teasing Georgia, with which I am already in love :wub2:

        My Teasing Georgia is now planted out. I hope that the rose before her doesn't do her any harm. I did dig out all the soil and replace so fingers crossed.

        Too hot to do anything else [​IMG]although Mia cat has found a nice shady spot to relax in.

          Hello, pretty Mia, you look lovely and cool there. :cool:

          I cut the last 20ft of privet (7ft high and 7ft across), Mrs S picked up the clippings for me. Then I mowed another quarter acre of lawn and also mowed up the smaller clippings from the privet from the other day and today (about 150ft in length).

          Now it's time to make my lunch and have a relax in the shade with a good book :dbgrtmb:. I may do some pressure hosing later. On the other hand, I may not! :heehee:

            mind you you must be mad inviting 2 welsh women into your club if that doesnt make you miserable nothing will,
            i have enjoyed reading this, this morning after a long night shift

            garden is tidy and green house almost bare:sad:
            been up the plot, :yes: need to transplant peas but it is a tad warm so going to hide in garage and plant more seeds :thumbsup:

              Well, I'm going to wait until the heat of the day lowers and then prune the two 12' Conifers in the middle of the garden. They need an annual prune and last year I had to lop around 4' off the top of each of them to try to make them more manageable. I bought an extending Hedge Cutter to supplement the regular one I have to make reaching the top of them easier.....gone are the days of putting a ladder against them:snork: So it's a mug of tea and an amble down the garden to size up the job.:coffee:

              oh mandii i like your thinking ....milk and one for me my dear and i will join you in a mo :coffee:

              lots to do but a mix of a little too warm ( to work in that is ) a little bit tired (nights last nite) and work again later, my chill now ... go to work, bed as soon as i get in and get up with the Sun tomorrow so i can get to the plot before i go to work at 9
